Not to bad now I got my feet up and relaxing. I need to go find a heating pad for my arms. Sorry about that. That kite looks like a real workout. Got my cold beer and this evenings choice is a Sinclair Grand Reserve, thanks for the idea. I will be right over. The arms are a little sore kite lessons for the neighbors Beer is in the fridge and you can have your choice from the humidor. Same here. 2 cigars today. Add in the Florida Oklahoma game in Dolphin Stadium and life is good. Go Tebo! |

I heard this evening the Cedar River was out of it's banks and parts of I-5 are under water. Looks like a real mess out there right now.

My brother's cottage is on the lake but is srrounded by acres and acres of woods..its beautiful ! Sometimes he has a problem with bears and he has to be really careful. maybe he ought to keep a couple of tree huggers around

Been kite flying. Enjoying the 59 degrees weather.  What's up tazz. That's 't' shirt weather this time of year isn't it. Yes sir it is. Now it is a sandwicha nd a beer time.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The day is so pretty, might just go back out to enjoy a cigar. Nothing like a good cigar sometimes, think I just might still have one Cubano left in the humidor hmmmmmmmmm You mentioned groundstraps. You must have one of those large kites. I saw some in Arkansas that took three people to handle. |

I'm still here, a friend stopped by and I got distracted for awhile.

some years it drys up, most years not. That is just a pond, actually, about 5 acres, a leftover from the glacial age. Every canyoun has one similar to it. It sits at 9200 feet. The ridge behind it, and all the peaks around it, are between 11K and 12K feet. Right now, there is about 18 feet of snow covering the lake. any fish in that pond? You have any streams nearby with rainbow trout in them I sure miss those. |

Hey willy you still here. I walked away for a few and the dang thing flipped without me.
Anyway I checked out the link hg posted and backtracked from there and found your pics of the country side, why do they call it dry creek if there is a lake? Does it dry up during certain times of the year? Anyway the mountains are my second love next to the beach. I was raised on the beach but grandad was from the blue ridge, must be in my blood from somewhere. |
