Malachi 1:2-3 - I have loved you, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I loved Jacob, And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

I  Jesus (the Beloved Character in the Christian Bible. I denounce Satan (thee Adversary) frustrated aka the Devil aka the Serpent in all it's various forms (including, but not limited to: Santa Claus, thee Easter Bunny, and blonde-haired, blue-eyed, Hollywood Jesus with all his glitz and glamour and pomp and circumstance). To my mind, not only do the heavens declare the handiwork of "sum" unidentifiable intelligence, so does the Earth (especially the female human creature). I do not sit with dissemblers or congregate with sinners. I wouldn't give a dime to any Catholic bum whose fathers helped build a string of Spanish Forts along the King's Highway and took part in the first Gold Rush which included the genocide of nature-loving, indigenous Peoples. For what it may be worth, if anything, my money (Jizya tax) is on Allah and his holy, obedient disciples.

The following verses are not open to any private interpretation:

"...fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."

"...there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him. And the LORD said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so."

In Luke 22:37, Jesus claims: "...this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors..."

Jesus' saying appears to be a direct reference to Isaiah 53:12

"Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors."

According to the KJV, Jesus divides the spoil with the strong; receives only a portion with the great.

I wrote it over 20 years ago.
I never knew if it was an original thought.
Back then, Google was still in its infancy.

The Bible asserts the following about the relationship between Jesus and nature:
"All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made." John 1:3 KJV

Spiritually speaking, John calls Jesus the Light that came forth when the El of ancient Israel reportedly said: "Let there be light."

(Incidentally, physical light or stars were not made until the fourth day of the so-called "creation narrative".)

John's Gospel agrees with Jesus' revelation: “I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.” "And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was." John also calls Jesus "the Word"; which appears to be consistent with Genesis and Isaiah 55:11 which proclaims: "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

The Bible is certainly an interesting read.
It speaks to both sides of the conflict.

Modern science agrees with the Bible's assessment: For every action, there is an equal and opposing reaction.

The "line" I wrote is the title of this topic.
I write taglines, slogans, and speeches.
One of my neighbors worked for the Ad Council and suggested the slogan: "Pitch In"

I did not submit this piece as an introduction.
That's why it's in the Creative Writing Section.

This is one of my favorite songs from the 80s:

Even though I think Dustin Hoffman nailed the lead role in Tootsie, I don't care for the film because I have a disdain for deception.

I'm not talking about a childish resentment toward Santa Claus.

When I was attending a small college during my freshman year, the Central Intelligence Agency conscripted me and trained me to work as an undercover operative. I was required to join the Navy and work undercover with the Office of Naval Intelligence because of widespread drug use on and off the Base. I requested "Alternative Service" but my Commanding Officer denied my request. I'm what's known as a "Conscientious Objector". I was raised Catholic and the Cardinals don't even approve of "placebos".

I've always been a goodie two shoes and the teacher's pet.

My ex-wife divorced me when I told her about our clandestine activities in the Navy and beyond.

Now that the technologies we employed have been declassified, I tell people right up front.

I wrote that line over 20 years ago when I was jotting down stray thoughts in one of those 99 cent composition notebooks. On another dating site, I penned the phrase: I'm looking for the one who gets me. As you may have noticed, another dating site appears to have adopted it. I'm actually a published author (poems, quips, and quotes). I was asked to write and edit a quarterly newsletter for a nonprofit organization, I've participated in multiple think tanks (Govt and NGO), recited poetry in the park during a local event, read Shakespeare at the public library, participated in various writing groups and social networking opportunities like AOL, NowPublic, Yahoo, Google+, etc.

NATO is a confederacy against Russia.
I do not support US foreign policy.
I do not support shedding innocent blood.
I do not support harsh, crippling economic sanctions that are designed to harm parents and their children via the trickle down effect.

In the Bible, the Character named Jesus is the only Orthodox Rabbi in all of Israel. In other words, Christians are Israel now. Any Israelite who does not follow Jesus is cut off from Israel. In the Bible, Jesus contemporaries refer to the disobedient Israelites collectively as "the Jews". The El of ancient Israel prophesied these things via his Angel and Moshe: "I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him. But the prophet, which shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or that shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die." Deuteronomy 18:18-20 KJV (Crown copyright in the UK)

Peace. According to the Bible, the El of ancient Israel sent an angel to reveal to Moshe that if any Israelite refused to obey the law, they should be cut off. "...the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant." Genesis 17:14 KJV Crown copyright in the UK. Incidentally, in the King James Version, the obedient Israelites called the disobedient Israelites "Jews".
