Ok, *cough* This does need to be said. Granted you should never tell a woman you hate her kids, but that doesn't mean that you are going to like 'em. Let's face it, they are little people, and people, no matter how innocent or adorable, are unique and have quirks that may or may not annoy you.

I say this having ran a day-care for my sister, and I say this being a man that loves kids. Like anyone else, they just require patience...but some behavior from a child is unacceptable (disrespect, intentional/malicious rudeness, etc.). And before you start, yes kids are going to be kids, I'm still a kid, but I didn't talk back to adults or my mother in front of others, I didn't say something hurtful or insulting when I knew it too be wrong, and when I started to get out of control - I listened to my mother or father and quickly behaved myself. At least in public .

But that is the key isn't it, it's the parents. So what do you do, not if you hate a woman's kids, but you hate the way she is raising them? Parents don't have to be perfect, but considering the responsibility that is their bailiwick, they should at least try their best. Would anybody disagree that consistency is the single most important component of raising children...alongside love of course? If so, what do you do when a mother is INconsistent?
