I like both types. I definitely prefer the take charge kind. There's nothing worse than a man with-holding things from you. If it takes him years to tell me how he feels about me, then he may miss out. I could be dating a new man by the time he tells me, or finally musters up some courage to ask me to be his woman. I don't like mixed signals.

True story. And she earned this title in 9th grade.

I think the vast majority of such odd sayings is the result of people who were mid-curse, and wanted to keep going because they weren't "done" yet.

So they said the next word that came to mind. Others are a result of innate human rebelliousness, especially in the young. For a good long time, in various places (most notably in Norther England) it was more or less a fad for the youth to break every multi-syllabic word in two, and insert F--king into the space created. Some sentences would run on for several pages, with only a few words being other than F. The most comedic and rebellious would insert effing into the middle of SINGLE syllable words as well.

Then there's the natural urge to be rebelliously creative. People want to add conceptual "monograms" to their venting, so they add all sorts of little bits and pieces into the mix.

oh, and don't forget the desire to curse, while making it as obvious as possible that one isn't actually hostile. Lots of the funniest curses are in that category.

You know, back in high school there was this chick who had the nickname "Draino". Cause she could unclog a man's pipe.

Waiting (for the 'correct' answer), understandably, with 'bated' breath! Chances are 'high' that I'll be proved 'an idiot', yet once again.

Although I don't seem to be anywhere 'remotely' close to the correct answer, something within keeps telling me that it doesn't require a 'mathematical' brain to solve this 'sweet & lovely' riddle. Simple 'common sense' should suffice, which regrettably appears to have 'eluded' me!
