trust me you get hungry enough.. your little pet dog fluffy.. is going to start looking pretty appetizing....lol I would kill anything that moves for survival.i would eat you too if hungry enough.I bet you taste like pork.

Is there really a different between all living beings? don't they all deserve to live in peace? how can we love one kind but eat the other? they all want to live! They all have feelings and emotions. animals 'deserve' to survive until they die or are eaten,, thats the natural cycle. They even eat each other. How humane we are in our process is another matter, but that we eat some animals is just natural. It is customary to eat cattle, and poultry, and fish. I cant attest for people who eat rodents like squirrel, or possum, etc,,,,lol But it is the fate of animals to die and usually be eaten. Their fate in nature is not the same as the fate of the animals living in the industry.they don't live free and natural life. I can't see the natural cycle in it.just for the record we slaughter about 150 billion animals a year for food.

Thank you, All. :) Perhaps I should take part in this forum more,it seems here one is able to interact with nice, normal, genuine people, for a change. Also, this is an international site, it is the context of its very name, yet it seems to me that I am predominantly being contacted by Indian men. Before anyone says anything - I am NOT racist, nor discriminative here, but simply wonder why that is - I would prefer if I was able to interact with ALL the rest of the nationalities. Thanks again for the nice comments! I agree, I think every man in India is on this site and they must have lots of time on their hands. They must wake up every morning and wonder what to do for the day, then it hits them "Contact women on Mingle2" LOL I think the majority don't even have a computer.not to mention electricity and clean water supply.

I think reverse psychology can be a bit of a mind game sometimes and it takes too much effort. I don't try to 'get my way', but I always try for the middle ground. How other people want to act is up to them...their standards are their responsibility. I don't hold anyone to anything...I just choose if they are someone I want in my life or not, if not I walk away. I try to keep things simple. Keeping it simple is the best way to go.That way the mind games don't apply.no reason to complicate anything more than it already is.

And that sort of farming is costing us too much...I don't believe we really need it.we just got used to it. It's an Evil industry in my opinion.causing more damage than good in so many ways.we lost the respect we need to give to the only planet we only abusing it on a mass scale.have you seem the conditions those animals live in? whats normal about it? how can we be so ignorant to suffering?

You are missing the point.Humans have a good way in distorting everything to justify their behavior and actions. My point was about the choice of which animals are ok to eat and which are taboo. when if you think of it there is not much difference between them except for how they taste.

Do you find the mass growing of animals in captivity for profit a part of the food chain? Hunting your food is one thing.Buying it in a supermarket is another.
