realise that your judgement of her was wrong.
Forgive yourself for being wrong. Remind yourself you dont want to be with someone who wants to be with someone else. Realise it was best she did what was best for her. Allow yourself to grieve your loss without wollowing in self pitty. Be thankful for the opportunity to find a more suitable girl friend. |

what has this thread to do with Black Lives Matter? Distraction and victimization.

A video of the incident went viral and the victim, 49-year-old David Wilcox, acknowledged he supports Donald Trump but said that's not what started the beating on the West Side. So what did start it? |

He is still trying to figure that out. I think he inherited a bit of my capacity to be a dreamer. I grew out of it, to an extent - and realized I needed to make money to survive. He thinks, because he does not want to have kids, that he doesn't need to make money (his words, not mine). He doesn't want to have a "soul $ucking" job. He's not interested in plumbing, tho - he shows potential for it - having worked on my house (self taught). I understand where he's coming from, but I do not think he has a firm grip on reality. I don't know many people who want to slave away each day for just enough money to survive -but sometimes that's what it comes down to. He's been reclusive since his return, staying in his room and making it awkward for me to try and talk to him. I think he is right in not wanting a soul sucking job. For that very reason he would be well advised to make himself as capable as he can so that he can be more able to choose what he does with his life and create a life that he values |

Obviously you ex wasnt a very good example of carrot and stick motivation.
He dangled the carrot then punished with the stick by withholding the carrot. that certainly isnt going to achieve any long term motivation. Even when done right motivating with carrot or stick is of only limited benefit because it is external motivation, the real gain is when he is motivated internally and not dependant on you for motivation. Finding the right insentive to use as the carrot is half the trick. Rarely is the stick a better option than the carrot Sounds like you are off to a good start a bit of research on "Holding the space" may be helpful. Its a concept I have only just heard of |

Will the PTB Have Trump Assassinated?
Of course not they are too smart for that. If they killed him it would only prove that they exist They are more likely to kill any prospective assassins to maintain their secrecy But then again, who know's what they are planning |

http://www.lowellsun.com/breakingnews/ci_30592390/massachusetts-college-stops-flying-american-flag-after-it Mass. college stops flying U.S. flag after students say its a symbol of racism, hatred By Susan Svrluga, The Washington Post Updated: 11/21/2016 03:52:19 PM EST The day after the election, some people at Hampshire College reacted to news of Donald Trump's victory by calling for removal of the American flag at the center of campus, saying it was a symbol of racism and hatred. That night, some lowered it. And the following night - sometime before dawn on Veterans Day - people burned it. The flag was quickly replaced, but the college board announced it would be flown at half-staff, "both to acknowledge the grief and pain experienced by so many and to enable the full complexity of voices and experiences to be heard." That didn't work, Jonathan Lash, the president of the small liberal-arts college in western Massachusetts said Monday. Lowering the flag to half-staff offended many, and the backlash was immediate, especially from veterans and military families who saw it as disrespectful of the tradition of national mourning. On Friday, Lash told the campus community that its efforts to convey respect and sorrow had had the opposite effect, and announced that the college would remove the flag entirely. He said there is a tremendous range of views on campus, "people for whom the flag is a very powerful symbol of fear they've felt all their lives because they grew up as people of color, never feeling safe - and people for whom it's a symbol of their highest aspiration for the country. " Dissent over the flag's meaning has intensified nationally in recent months, with some seeing it as a symbol of unity and pride, and others as one of oppression. Lash said he was trying to find a way to allow the community to have a direct, open, respectful conversation about those contradictory ideas. He hopes removing the symbol will free people up to talk. Similar debates are playing out on other campuses, where protests and demonstrations followed the election results, some of them with anger directed at the national symbol. At Brown University, some students tore up and stomped on flags from an event honoring veterans last week, while others hurried to replace and protect the flags. At American University the day after the election, students upset about Trump's victory burned flags and shouted "F-- white America!" And at many campuses, minority students have been targeted and harassed in the days after the election, with swastikas scrawled on doors, women's hijabs yanked off, black students being called racial slurs and racist posters glued to campus walls. In a message to the Hampshire community earlier this month, board leaders wrote that the divisions and conflicts of the presidential campaign that erupted after the election were felt acutely and personally. "On campus we have seen numerous expressions of pain, fear, anger, and vulnerability - understandable given news reports from across the country about acts of hostility and violence against people of color, immigrants, international citizens, and Muslims," it said. In an email to the campus community Friday, Lash wrote that college leaders hoped that removing the flag "will enable us to instead focus our efforts on addressing racist, misogynistic, Islamophobic, anti-immigrant, anti-Semitic, and anti-LGBTQ rhetoric and behaviors." He also wrote, "Some have perceived the action of lowering the flag as a commentary on the results of the presidential election - this, unequivocally, was not our intent." The decision was met with anger, outrage and derision from many on social media. Lash said in an interview that he is hopeful the college community will find a way to listen to one another's concerns in the next month or two while the flag is down, but acknowledged that may be difficult. "I don't think the country did it very well," he said. "I'm hoping we can as a campus." Delusional as all HELL! I agree hell is a delusion. But what specific delusion are you comparing it too? |

God is NOT a loving god.
Op you indicate that you believe that god is a human construct. So why cannot an individual constructor choose whether their god is loving or not? |
