is it marriage important for a true love ? No it's not. In fact, you have better chances of staying in love if you don't marry. Marriage used to be great, back when the world used to make sense. Now that everything is upside down and inside out marriage doesn't make much sense unless you plan on giving kids to your "better half" then that's a whole other adventure that has nothing to do with love and everything to do with your mental castration and physical bondage. |

Commitment, and dedication ARE imperatives, if you want your relationship to be anything more then a moment to moment whim.
That is what marriage symbolizes. Whether you involve the government and or religious authorities in helping you attend to your understanding of the seriousness of what love actually means, at it's best, or not, is up to you. |

The grapes are sour, too. |

to us in the divorced community marriage could be one thing that will scare us all over again lol Could you tell why? Just curious ... I know most men never want to get married again, women often do (not all). So I'm curious |

I for one, am not SCARED of marrying again, I am completely averse to it. Marriage has proven to be more of a hindrance to real commitment and bonding in my experience, not to mention that the amount of interference from the government in my life has been extreme.
Maybe it's typical male egotism. I want a mate who stays with me because she wants to, and because she believes in what I believe in about life and honor. Not another person who sees me as some sort of temporary entertainment delivery service/personal butler. |

is it marriage important for a true love ? I can only say that marriage is important to me and I would marry again. It is that level of commitment that I need from a partner and it agrees with my beliefs, not everyone that finds and lives with their true love wants to marry them, or can marry them if they have never divorced from a previous marriage. Marriage is more a personal choice in my opinion, that both partners need to decide upon and something not to be rushed in to. |
