I mean, I could sit here and tell you that you're a stud and I don't think it's going to have any meaning. Even if a girl comes in and says something nice you'll probably assume that she is just being nice to make you feel better.

Will the words of a stranger help you feel anymore secure?

Luck tis a matter of perspective. |

well, mrright101, I know I'm broken. But in this case I know that isn't the issue. The problem is a lack of being broken.
I'm curious as to how many people remember crushes they had prior to being 10. I'm really not looking forward to being 40. In theory, my collection of memories and reminders will have doubled. |

wait. thats not true. the first one was named april. I was 3, in preschool.
When I randomly come across one of these sometime in the future of the initial interest, I find the feelings are unchanged. |

Are you reminded about every single person you've ever been interested in? The first girl i ever had a crush on was amanda. it was kindergarden. the second was jessica D, in first grade. I can do this all day. Amanda had very light brown hair. she usually wore darker colored clothes. Jessica had blond hair. she almost always wore something white or light colors.
I got a craving for sausage or something myself... I don't think i have any here and I'm not making a trip to the store at almost 3am. |

I'd comment, but it doesn't really seem fair because.. well I'm not attracted to men.
Though brad pitt is a sexy beast. Thats all I'm saying. |

So.
I doubt this is a very common problem. I am completely unable to let go completely of any interest in a girl that I've ever had in my entire life. For example, I still occasionally think about my first girlfriend, the first girl I believed I was in love with, the crush I had on a girl in 3rd grade. Basically, if I have a feeling it never disappears. Keep in mind these thoughts only come occasionally, and I completely stop them from interfering with my daily life or current relationships. But I have to pose the question to myself (and everyone else now), why? The only thing I'm able to guess could be the culprit is the terrible thing of my memory. I don't forget details about things that are important to me. I remember the full name, phone number, birthday, and pretty much anything else about every girl I've ever dated. I remember how the days felt. I can watch most of my times with these people as if it were a movie in my head. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions? Comments? Who else is hungry? |

Well, if the feelings will pass it may be a different story. My feelings don't pass, so it's another issue entirely for me.
I think I feel like making a topic about that. |

Yeah.
Then again, I'd have to like her a significant amount and think that she was someone I could see marrying before accepting not getting laid. I would be less likely to wait for sex with a girl I didn't think I would be likely to marry. |

Quite thoroughly single. Half by choice. Not thrilled with it though.

Even if we go on that theory..., isn't anything great going to take some risk to get it. You can risk the relationship with the friend that might lead to something great, or let them go and lose the potential. Leave them to the sea of douche bags. you know. Its a very difficult decission to take if you love the friend. But of course it could be worth a try, if you're certain the friendship and/or relationship will last. Sometimes the step is required. If the friends have too significant of feelings for each other, it can also be bad to ignore them. Quite often times unexpressed feelings and feelings not acted upon can cause more tension, awkwardness and other unpleasantness. |
