Why? His whispered, whimpering pried Away no casual insistence belied To land upon the teetering reed Where perched precarious sight was freed. Child of question yawns once more To feign direction, his curious adore A deepening breath exhaled as chore To sleep, to rest from weeping's bore? Why? Has ceased to bid his time Quell such restlessness, remind. Light will fill the sky to day Another query at tedium's bay. When? Persisted to delay Taking slow, her teasing way Impetuous diversion plans to grow As truth is wind for thoughts do blow. Doubt, a plant from impervious seed Sprouts in rows to neatly grieve. Exhaustion repeated grasping faith Silence continues saving grace. Impatient destined to beguille Intention knowing all the while. When? This is a great way to learn about other perspectives. I was naive enough to think that mine were common. It turns out that mine are rare. I love that. Conversations on here can really bring new light to your thinking. Im here to chat/read in forums and if I meet someone special more is the better. I came here to learn a world I knew nothing about. I believed I could reach my children in a different way after my husband died. I came here for the poetry that has been my lifeline, to talk to understand others. The world has expanded far beyond small town. I think y'all need to know there are others like me...kind, nice, caring is not outdated. Sexy ain't outdated either.....just sayin Sir Krupa, How are you and your Sweet? I heard from friends that the whales were supposed to be migrating in Astoria. I surely miss the NW. |

We Shared
...the same room playful joys for a time, home. Life cutting stained glass forming pattern through which we viewed childish dreams rose tinted laughter crimson tears spattering the stairs we climbed the bannister we slid down to land sometimes on both feet. Hope Never wanting to grow old without each other... at least for me. But we have grown. Older, that is, sharing with someone else... Change... leaving us aghast with need that mesmerizes beyond ourselves to our little ones reach. Still, we share. Our room having expanded to a world not always visible or kind to each other. If only and just for a moment we shared the same heart realizing full well you remember...differently. SadieLu© 2013 |
