sailing on the murky seas,
broken mast and torn sails downwind from dark and broken dreams, Smoke filled horizon from distant burning trees falling ash makes it hard to see Maybe it will come to me. Splashes alongside from water angels inlet dolphins caught my hail leading me towards the fallen shores no sea legs I stumble to the oars Crushing peaks of oiled foam cresting over my splintered home tainting all that I have known. Is it real, can it be? The clearing up ahead of me is there an end to this misery? The charred remains of this destiny subterfuge for more ambiguity? The pinnacle of purpose has come to this, dreaded irrationality? Seeing a bright and clear light reaching down through the poisoned night A maelstrom of clarity breaches the fight my water angels still in sight. my purest directional caught in flight seeking to find the heart of it all before I make the fabled fall Poseidon's wrath of a boundless sort emotionally strung, his plan we thwart led and fueled by pure dismay sailing, searching for another way... I almost won the unfolding war but lost myself in search of my core |

Perspective is certainly subjective, as evidenced in the responses.
"We are oft to blame in this, 'Tis too much proved, that with devotions visage And pious action we do sugar o'er The devil himself." Personally I deal in truth, as harsh and ugly it may be, or fantastically beautiful it can become. Anyone who believes that there are not forces 'behind the scenes' with a plan enacted long ago to manipulate the minds of the masses, control through division and isolation, etc., are not only ignorant, they practice D.E.N.I.A.L. Of Course anything that can better the human (and the planet's) existence that cannot bring a profit to Mega Conglomerate, shall be deemed unfit for public distribution. Do you seriously think there is no viable solution for free energy, or oil/ gas free vehicles, or that there are no healthy natural alternatives to pharmacology? Please... Stop deluding yourselves. Of course there is, but, those in power will not give up that power and simply hand us the keys to a future eden. It must be taken, and not my the meek or faint of heart. |

I would take Edward James Olmos to dinner. I think he is cool. Are you a BSG fan? He, along with the entire cast, were phenomenal. Definitely one of the greatest series I have ever seen. |

I Didn't know I was a cat person until my 2 buddies came running out of the woods on a dark July 4th many moons ago. They are brothers and were abandoned or kicked out or perhaps lost as 3 month old kittens. The black cat ran right up to me while in a meowing fit, stood up on his back legs, place both his paws as high as he could on my leg, and seemed to say, " You will do, now, take me to my new home. Oh, and my brother can come too if you please."
They looked like cats due to their size and grew into Humongous, loving, caring, lap cats that are more like dogs than cats. One eats anything, fruits, vegetables, crackers, POPCORN lol, and both demand to be in my arms as much as possible. I am not digressing. My point here is that behind every animal and his/her pet human, there is a tale of bonding, adventure (of sorts), ups and downs, sickness and health, Joyous and sad times, etc. Doesn't that sound like a relationship with another human(s)? Perhaps children of sorts? Look, people, if you are spiritual enough to realize this isn't the end, and that we have souls, then you MUST realize THEY have souls too, or you're blind. Trading my 'kids' away because someone else wanted me too, or because of my own selfish desires is not even something I could contemplate. EN - OH. Not now, not ever, not for any reason. They are worth it, and so am I. Anyone who doesn't see that as a strength in my character, an aspect of rigid loyalty, is not worth having me in their life. Just my worthless opinion. |

"Must love animals"?
|
|
In my long and exhaustive study of human behavior, it is clear to me that there is a fundamental difference between those that Love animals, those that tolerate animals, and those that simply dislike animals.
Those that dislike them are [often] prone to be attracted to reptiles...to me, that says it all. If not, they themselves are emotionally distant from those that Love animals. Those that tolerate animals simply tolerate everything in their life that they didn't personally approve or desire. Then that are the rest that Love animals. They simply 'Get It'. I must admit, there are Many things we 'humans' (and I use that term very loosely) can learn about when it comes to the most powerful emotions we have at our disposal- LOVE. Just my worthless opinion. |

Great Question!
This early in the morning (for me- I know I know) and no coffee as of yet, I would have to say Stephen Hawking. There are so many things I find amazing about him on so many levels, I would Love to pick his brain. |

Forgive my ignorance, is this forum open to the Nation, the World? Does anyone have the desire to share the knowledge that may help me to sort of, you know, shrink those parameters just a tad bit?
It isn't very funny of life to present you with an AWESOME person, who happens to live 2200 miles away. THanks in advance, and if not, well, thanks anyway. |

New here as well, says I.
I don't want to 'hook up' though. I just enjoy great conversation and am somewhat starved for it at the present. I must admit, I am feeling kind of gullible, I was lead to believe there was a chat room here lol. Seeing what I want again, rather than what is there. Anyways, good luck to you man. Oh, and, No Homo! @ Riz, You are very polite, are you a real person or a bot. |

The Dream we call reality.

Life, the dream from which we all must wake.
So far, it seems everything between 'life' and death is filler. Unfortunately, filler is not the matrix of this existence. The prevalence of dark obsessive fear in most that I cross paths with leaves me feeling alien, when I choose to allow that emotion. As a race we are infantile in the face of the universe, and it's vastness of possibilities. I teeter on the edge in tune with the precipice our very race stands upon and wonder: Is there hope, and if there is, it is enough? |
