Dark chocolate. But I'll take milk chocolate too. There's only one kind of white chocolate I like, and...well, it's not very edible. Unless one is into canibalism that is.

Good hygiene. I'm not only talking about the normal places on the body that sweats. Bad breath is a repellent.

Intelligence. I want to be able to hold a conversation with you outside of sex. Doesn't have to be about politics (oh dear, spare me!), but dull conversation doesn't work for me.

Lots and lots of cuddles.

Sex is importatnt, but closeness by cuddling and passionate kissing trumps sex...sometimes.

Did she actually say "Danny, the reason your damn cables out is because ya ain't paid ya damn bill!" in those exact words?

That's pretty funny though. Oops? laugh

spockWould you ever cheat on your significant other for any reason?spockIf yes, why?what

There IS no reason to cheat. It's just wrong, period. And it gets more so when you use your small children as your excuse to go out cheating (which I had to experience as a kid).

What?! Okay, snoop around on your mate if that's your thing. Don't bring unsuspecting children into the game. Sorry you had to experience that.

I have a zero tolerance for cheaters, so for me to turn around and do it? No. I wouldn't be able to live with myself for that. Yes, it's that serious.

Blatantly. But just to be sure, the next time you see her, ask and clear the air.

I dont think girlfriend was into guy much. Why didnt girl ever confront guy in person? She knew where he was, and when. Something is missingohwell

No, girl can't confront guy if the only thing she knows is that he's at work. She doesn't know his days off or anything. Even if she did call him, he'd not pick up his phone (assuming he's working?). She leaves a message, he doesn't return the call.

He dumped her but forgot to send the memo. Bless her heart; what a turd!!

If this is the case, go figure. Always getting the siht end on relationships.

I joined a few days ago, and posted a few posts, but I didn't introduce myself. So hi! I like cats, theatre, writing, and chocolate. Sarcasm is my weapon of choice.

Girl's in a relationship with a guy. Guy starts working, completely drops his social life, including girlfriend, and their mutual friends (who fixed them up in the first place). Girl gives him the benefit of a doubt, but knows he gets several days off, but she doesn't hear from him for weeks on end. Worse, guy and girl went from seeing each other 3-4 times a day to not seeing each other at all. No phone calls or anything, and girl would call and leave a message. He never returned the call. Girl is irritated, but not so much.

(Confused yet? No? M'kay.)

A month and a half later, girl finds out that guy called mutual friends on his day off. Girl waited for his call...never got it. Mutual friends don't hear from him for a bit longer after that. Then guy calls them again asking to hang out. No call on the girl's end. Girl is officially livid, because he did this siht once before, and she knows that he won't call this time either.

In short: Why does he call everyone else, excluding girlfriend? Makes little sense.

(And so does this thread, but that's what happens when you're also trying to pay attention to a phone conversation!)

Audacity, a free source program much like Soundforge or the likes. This program will allow you to record your voice, however to get it into .mp3 you have to download the Lame MP3 Encoder.

Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ [Link verified]

Lame MP3 Encoder: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq?s=install&item=lame-mp3 [Link verified, also instructions]

I was just about to suggest that. I use that to cut down mp3's into 20-second clips to use as ringtones. Very good program.

As much as I love sex and as much as I wish I was getting it more often, I cannot do the friends with benefits/one-night stand thing. I won't knock anyone who likes it (have fun and accidentally reproduce), but I prefer being in a meaningful relationship (with lots of sex with it!).

I use it sometimes, but the true reason why that is on my laptop is to check if my sites are compatible in it.

I like it, but I still have a soft spot for Firefox. The only gripe is that it's a huge memory eater. I had 7 tabs open, and it spiked to astronomical numbers. The only other thing that uses that much memory on my machine is Sims 2, and there's a reason for that.

So until they fix that memory leak, I'm using Opera.

I prefer as close to my age as possible. I can't go too young (won't do it again anyway), because it's very strange to date someone who is the same age as some of your family members (who I'm close to--if I wasn't, then pfft.)

*Technically* I'm not single. There's a long story behind that one but to make it short, it's as if I'm still single. So I can probably answer this question. I haven't found one who hasn't screwed me over yet.

That, and because I would never date someone in my neck of the woods.

I rely heavily on personality. A great sense of humor is a must. It helps if he's into the same stuff as I am. It definitely helps if he breathes on a regular basis. Not controlling, likes/loves me for me.

Oh, and a little bit of physical attraction and a decent sized member is key, but it's not way up there with everything else.

Not necessarily in that order.
