Assuming she wants to be "kept", that will depend solely on whether or not you can accept being with someone who does not and may never love you as you wish to be loved. I think resentments could easily grow from this situation though. If you don't fully accept that she does not love you and choose to stay with her, you may resent that she does not love you. If you do fully accept that she does not love you and stay, you may feel content for a while but eventually resent both her and yourself for giving up opportunities for the kind of love you really wanted. That's what I've seen happen in similar situations anyway. Good luck friend.

I totally agree with this. I will give you a very wise saying: I you love (truly) something or someone, set it (he, she) free. If it was yours, it(he, she) will return to you. If not it (he, she) was never yours. I went through this exact problem and I didn't think I could live past the pain it caused me. But I did and the one I loved married someone else and got divorced. He came back to look for me only problem is that when he came back I no longer saw in him what I thought I once saw. We stayed friends, but I would never give him my heart again. Hope this helps. Best of luck to you brother. We all deserve good love. ....the very best love is freely given. If the girl doesn't appreciate you for being a good man...then she probably isn't very smart. Let her settle for someone less and move on to find a better woman who can appreciate you for you. Trust me....I have fallen for some truly stupid women....I am glad those relationships failed....cause those failures led me to the woman who really loves me. thats the spirit
