It has been a few years since we have had a bad one here. I think the last real bad one that actually gave us any problems was Dennis. We had some very strong winds and a lot of rain from that one. Power was out for a few days and such. We got a lot of rain from Katrina but that was all

I live just north of the Florida line and it isn't even raining here. We aren't expecting any rain until the first part of the week so we aren't getting anything from the storm. I live closer to Crestview Florida than I do to Montgomery, Al

There is a little flooding in the low lieing areas of Mobile, but that is about all I have heard about and a little around Ft. Walton Beach Florida.

Flame, I am doing fine, sorry about not coming back right away. I lost my internet for a bit. They are in the process of upgrading our cable system so I guess that had something to do with it. How is everyone this morning. Not much happening here in South Alabama

Thank you, I will. I need some friends. I am a widower of 2 years and live with my 25 year old son or he lives with me. I am disabled so don't work so stay home most of the time. I hope to meet some people and start living again.

On the quitting smoking, if you can make it a week you can stop for good. I smoked heavy or 35 years and then a little over 9 years ago I quit and haven't started back. It can be done hang in there
