I love Vegas more than any place on earth! I used to go once a year for a couple days and play the nickel and quarter slots. Well, those days are gone. Keep me in mind if you want a fellow slot player to help ya spend some money !! LOL! (oh, but to dream of having a Vegas getaway!!) **What is your favorite hitting the jackpot memory? That's if you ever won one!

Anyone besides me a Max Webster fan? They were from Canada and were big there in the mid to late 70's thru early 80's before they broke up and Kim Mitchell the front man /guitarist went solo. They teamed up with Rush with the song Battle scar on the Universal Juveniles album that was truly one of the best rock albums ever released (truly underrated and not praised by the ignorant music critics!)it exposed them to us here in America . My other favorite Max album was the Live Magnetic air lp which was great!!! Well, if you are a fan let me know as it would be great to have some fellow Max Webster fans as friends on this site!!

This is an odd one but very interesting to see where it may go. Ok,..You have been given the power to resurrect only one musical legend who had passed away from any era. Out of all the musicians and singers who would you give the power of life to as they would be alive again to continue their career at the exact age they died. Tough one!! I would have to select John Lennon (Luckily Paul McCartney is still around so it would be amazing to hear them collaborate on music again and hear the voices harmonize again!)

When its all you have to do once a week in a boring **** hole town this is basically all I have to look forward to. I'm here for the next several months will elderly relative care taking and trust me, without the getting out to sing I would most likely be laying on the couch next to the 92 year old lady and being more depressed than she is.--------

Great! Someone who knows what I'm talkin about. I'm not knockin all singers that arent great or good, just the **** faced wastes of time who shouldn't get near a microphone in the first place! Theres only so much time alotted in that once a week evening and trust me the few hours go by fast!

I don't think that anyone should get too upset about it if some people have bad voices. They are having a good time and living out their dreams just like you are. Some tone deaf people don't know how bad they sound. They don't hear it the same way that you do. I just tune out the bad ones and applaud the good ones. The whole idea is to have a good time. The pros should be on another stage if it upsets them.
Anyone else agree or disagree?? Come on folks! lol!
