LDRs might be able to work depending on a lot of factors. The biggest on is if you are both looking for someone for life and who is going to relocate. I have never tried on so I do not know if I could or not. I say if you are happy in that type relationship jsut keep it strong and let the furture lay out your path.

since i started posting in these forums on this site, i don't think i can keep track of the 'i'm a nice guy, why isn't this working for me?' type-threads. i don't think there are that many men suffering from low self-esteem and that there must be more to it, since it really does seem to be a gender issue (it's almost always men who create these threads) i'm guessing that women just have an advantage over men in the dating world and that it's usually the woman that decides whether there is going to be pursuit, whether she initiates it, or whether she encourages the man to do so. i'd stop worrying about yourself and what you're doing wrong. you can't make a woman (or women in general) be attracted to you. best i can say, is to be confident, assured, light and humourous, those seem to be the qualities that most women find attractive in a man. |

i have been on here a while now and still havent meet any one. i'm loving' caring' truthful' passionate and love to have fun. i'm 50 but look 40 and those my age do not share anything in common with me their views are so much different and those younger than 40 seem to think i'm too old. most people can't keep up with me so i look for those younger than 45 in hopes of finding the right one. i thought women wnated a real man who woill love them and treat them as an equal. a man who will let them know everyday how much they mean to them. but i guess i was wrong because that is the kind of man i am and seem like no one wants to try...

Im 32, single for the last 6 years. I had one great boyfriend that broke the cardnal rule, and my heart and havent had the patience to give anyone the time of day since. Im so independant, I think people are intimidated. But I figure if a guy cant handle the fact that I can handle my own...I dont want him anyway. |
