Izzie...
In Oregon...pick an autumn night, cold and crisp, as the fogs build in the flatlands away from the cities. Know a backroad, up to a pass, to the top of a hill. Be there before sunrise, above the blanket of fog. Watch it come. Before the sun crests the horizon, the pinks of predawn light the top of the blanket that covers the earth like a sea of cotton.
Think of being where the light will come, rather than it coming to you.
Enjoy. Enjoy it all.
