Untouched you are, your surface flat,
Not even a simple wake,
You live alone not knowing that,
My love is here to take.

You go about your everyday,
Working hard to earn your keep,
But lost in bed at night, you say,
Alone you cannot sleep.

You cry for me alone at night,
E'en though my face is blank,
I've shared your tears and thought I might,
Just watch awhile from your bank.

But you glimpsed my way and smiled again,
You laughed at things I'd say,
And beckoned me to come jump in,
To wash my fears away.

So jump I did into this pond,
The angle, oh, so steep,
This solid stone would make a bond,
Within your waters deep.

Ripples softly flow from me,
As I nestle down inside,
The future seems so bright for we,
Our feelings we shant hide.

These ripples, dear, I'll generate,
They'll be an endless tide,
As long as you appreciate,
That our love has never lied.

Shattered Dreams

Your memories have burned you deep,
The scars you carry have made you weep,
You want release, yet find more pain,
For you live a life that seems so plain,
You've given up, you've lost all hope,
With bladed thought, you've cut the rope,
And let your dreams sink deep below,
No longer inclined to see them grow,
As in the past you've watched them shatter,
Laughed it off, tried not to let it matter,
Don't want to try, why waste the time?
I'll tell you why, 'cause it's a crime,
To leave your dreams untouched and battered,
It's no wonder why you've seen them shattered,
You have to think above the rest,
To truely watch them pass the test,
Hold on to them, don't let them die!
It's not that hard if you really try,
To use your mind to mold the clay,
I'm here to help, to cheer, to pray,
Our dreams are what make us who we are,
But bottled up or in a jar,
Are stale and stagnant for you to view,
And therefore have no chance of coming true....

A blonde was driving across state when her car broke down. Lucky for
her she wasn't too far from a bar and could go call her mom for help.
She strode into the bar and asked the manager if she could use the
phone. He told her to come around to the back and step into his office.
She followed him in and he shut the door behind them. He sat down on
his sofa and told her to come over here and get on her knees. She did.
He told her to unzip his pants. She did. He told her to take out his
meat. She did. Then she waited for her next order. After about a
minute of dangling in front of her face he looked angry and said,
"Well?!?"

She opened her mouth ......

"HELLO? MOM? ARE YOU THERE?"

Of course I found one with my name on it...

You're right buddy, it isn't a team competition... so judge them
seperately ;) It was all spur of the moment stuff which is what makes
poetry good. This is not an attack, its a notification ;)
