Really wont help one bit..Those people have been fighting over there
your years..I support our troups 100%, but its time they come home, I
believe or let them fight 100% and take names and kick ass.

TO ALL THE KIDS
WHO SURVIVED the
1930's 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's !!


First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while
they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't
get tested for diabetes.

Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby
cribs covered with bright colored lead-based paints.


We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, doors or cabinets and
when we
rode our bikes, we had no helmets, not to mention, the risks we took
hitchhiking.
As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, booster
seats, seat belts or air bags.

Riding in the back of a pick up on a warm day was always a special
treat.


We drank water from the garden hose and NOT from a bottle.


We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and

NO ONE actually died from this.


We ate cupcakes, white bread and real butter and drank Kool Aid made
with sugar, but we weren't overweight because .

WE WERE ALWAYS OUTSIDE PLAYING !


We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were
back when the streetlights came on.


No one was able to reach us all day.


And we were O.K.



We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps and then ride
down
the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the
bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We did not have Playstations, Nintendo's, X-boxes, no video games at
all, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD's, no
surround-sound or CD's, no cell phones, no personal computers, no
Internet or chat rooms.......
WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!


We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no
lawsuits from these accidents.


We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in
us forever.

We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays,

made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it
would happen, we did not put out very many eyes.

We rode bikes or walked to a friend's house and knocked on the door or
rang
the bell, or just walked in and talked to them!


Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team. Those who
didn't had to learn to deal with disappointment. Imagine that!!

The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of.

They actually sided with the law!


These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem
solvers and inventors ever!

The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned

HOW TO

DEAL WITH IT ALL!

You might want to share this with others who have had the luck to grow
up as
kids, before the lawyers and the government regulated so much of our
lives

for our own good


And while you are at it, forward it to your kids so they will know how
brave (and lucky) their parents were.

Kind of makes you want to run through the house with scissors, doesn't

I cannot speak for every guy, but for myself I did not..My wife did, 3

Jenn..That is a very good question you have asked, to bad that there is
no clear-cut answer. I worked security in a few bars when I was younger,
and I saw the same thing every night. Guys would come off as just
wanting to talk with a lady, and would tell them everything they wanted
to hear, get the lady a good buzz and convince her to leave with him..On
the other hand I saw ladies come on to a guy and tease him all night
telling him exactly what he wanted to hear, and the blow him off after
he spent the nigh putting everything on his tab…Although I have not been
into bars for many years, I am sure nothing has changes, as again I saw
the same thing every night at each different, bar, and night club I
worked in...People say trust and follow your heart, but that is not
totally correct as you also need to have some common sense when
listening to people because a lot of friggin people lie to get what they
want….Bammer

Ya know..I really dont think that I want her back..She is attempting to
only allow me a couple days a week to be with my girls..I have my ducks
in a row and think I can hold my own in court, as she basically left me
and my girls for a week before she served me with papres..she is the
cheating drunk, who hangs out with drunks on the nights she is to be
with the girls (I take them as often as I can)..I was a fighter for
years (Bammer) and I gave up fighting when my oldest was born..I think I
just dont want to fight anymore..thats why I would take her
back..although I just got off the phone with her and she pissed me off
but good..LOL

my wife cheated on me and now is asking for everything we had
togeather..I stood by her through rehab, then drugs again, loss of
almost everything we had due to drugs, 1 year in jail. and then she
meets a co-worker and they go off and do their own thing, totally
tearing up my family (we have two young children)..For some unknow
reason I would still take her back if she were to come home..Why? I have
no idea..I dont understand why people cheat friggin sucks

Bob is the man//always liked his music and now my daughters have
discovered him as well.

1st Christmas without my kids..very hard..I made sure they had lots to
open up on christmas though

Your picys are very nice..glad to hear your a good mother..I have
daughters myself..they grow up quick, so enjoy and love them lots.

I do not know about anyone else, but I think by the way my ex destroyed
Christmas this year she must have been the inspiration for the story
“How the Grinch Stole Christmas”. Although in the story the Grinch gives
everything back, where as my ex still wants more..LOL..Bammer
