Okay so I care for my ex, even though he beat me and put me in the hospital and a million other things, at one point he was nice. But my question is have you ever had an ex you could be friends with after the relationship ended?
you still care for someone who beat you and put you in the hospital?noway

He also was a good guy who supported me through my diagnosis as a person with BPD and just couldn't handle it.
oh.......yeah,no one else would do that!laugh

He was there when my mother, father, sisters all flaked, then he flaked, at least I was in a better mental state when he did it.

I come from Idaho, with a long family history to the people who came West and settled, I am a hunter and gun owner, when I was very young as my siblings were, we were educated, very well educated to guns, our guns were not hidden or locked up as there was no such thing in those days, they hung up on the wall
the one that may be used freguently, one of the rifles was kept loaded at all times, as we used it to protect livestock from predators or packs of domestic dogs. We did not have any handguns because they were farly useless for a clean one shot at either a predator or deer, elk, moose that we killed to sustain our family, I was always taught to kill as effienct as possible so NO animal suffered, as we were taught as much respect of the animal, whether they be food for the table or a dog that packed with other dogs for survival after being dumped from larger towns rurally. I have several friends that have bought hand guns for protection and thet and their souses have taught their children to not touch "Daddys" gun it is dangerous instead of teaching about guns, as was already mentioned that they are a tool with a use and how to check and see if a gun is loaded. they just want to have a gun for protection and not teach their children any thing about guns. "just leave it alone"
now that attitude didn't work with whiskey with me and it is reasonable with guns either, education is. Now before anyone thinks I am a "Redneck" gun fanatic I'm not in fact the NRA no longer sends me any material, because I don't subscribe to their thoughts about assault rifles, most reasonable hunters don't hunt with assault rifles, they are efficent for only one reason, "to kill other human". As far as having an efficent home protection firearm, a shotgun is much better, And to the comments about the 2nd amendmant being written for differant times, do they also think this way to old amendmants about unreasonable search and seizure, or freedom of religion

Both times that was me cownurse and yes I really don't remember that part from my constitutional law class, just remember 1, 2, 5, 14th amendments

I am bigger, but young. Misses fits but I am stuck having standard legs and pastel colors, for once I want something that fits and doesn't look like it belongs to a 40 year old.

by the way. for those of you who have had the "training" for a concealed weapon permit, does your permit specify which gun you are authorized to carry? or at least the caliber??? nope.

guess what people do....take the class with a .22 caliber pistol since it has no recoil. and then go buy a .45 to carry on them.
only if they are stupid

Before carrying a gun where there is the potential to be around people, you should go to the shooting range for practice.

its not about the permit holder being stupid. its about them exploiting a loophole in the system.

I know the loop hole but a responsible person would make sure to get enough practice in in order to insure they can handle any fire arm they carry before it

thats true. big difference between being irresponsible and being stupid. even bigger difference shooting at paper and having someone shooting back at you.

21 feet. thats the distance a man armed with a knife can stab you from a stand still. it takes the average person 1.9 seconds to react to that. only 1.7 for him to get there. thats 2 tenths of a second to bleed before you can react. how many people train at the range drawing a weapon and firing in under 1.7 seconds?
I can hit five targets from surrender position in under three seconds, but i get lots of practicesmokin bigsmile

noway wow
