I personally don't understand why people wouldn’t ask for salvation now. I know why I didn't. I was partying hard and had no need for salvation. Then Christ was explained to me and that I could have salvation and I asked Christ to save my soul after that it became clear as day. God sent His son as a sacrifice for us not himself.

If you’re not saved today Christ loves you and wants to give salvation to you. You have the free will to ask and when you do everything will become clear and you will want to return that love. Go to church and they can help you grow in Christ and go to Sunday school you will find it to be a great reward. Make sure the church you go to is serving Christ and not itself.
