SitkaRains,

Thank ye, my friend. Always the temperamental poet I exist with some constancy within the gentle framework of my feathery, moonlit dreams. And once inside the hollow draft of the sacred winds that blow there, I become like the laboured wisp o' a songbird - beyond flight. Well into night. For this is where we all dwell best. It is here we rest - the best.

Thank ye, Sitka, very much,

Listen, tulip2633, Ladywind7 and Dreadaye,

I wish to thank ye one and all for taking your very important time out to review this piece with me. Indeed you're all so very kind. And I respect all of you so very much. Thank you.

scotland166,

As per your, " To The Fisherman, " I'm not sure, was this your work? Of your hand and mind? If so, what a moving piece of flowing wordplay. I like the momentum. I fell deep into this and landed inside gently as if upon a soft pillow. I was amassed. Very pleased.

Thank ye, scotland166, for sharing. In any future event please signature your pieces so that we may appreciate it's real and true worth, that of being of the hand of the submitting poet - whom I pray was you. Initials just won't normally do here inside this slender garden of written song - and of given wit. We need more, scotty.

Thank ye, everyone!

Dread, my ol' friend,

That's just spectacularly beautiful! What force. What command. If I had me druthers I'd have to say you're the poet of the year. This piece was very, very deep and I loved it.

Well done, Dread, my good friend. Well done.

Dread, my good wholesome friend,

Thank ye for taking your important time out to visit. I hope ye sat through it all. I have just now completed this piece of recorded verse, and, I might add it is important to know it finds itself welcomed by you, Dread, and those others interested here. For if this is so, I shall indeed contemplate graduating more of the same into this slender forum.

Thank ye, Dread, and be well,

My friends,

Having completed this, my latest recording, " A Most Radiant Moon, " I've made it available for review here . . .

I hope ye find it worthy of your time and listening. Thank you all and be well,

PS:

I like this ' Picosong ' link site. It's free of commercial input. And I think I shall be recording more of my works, gradually, and over time. If I receive a good enough response to this here in Mingle2 I shall contemplate the same.

Tul,

You're so very welcome, warm friend. I first wrote this some years back whilst fiddling with the whole north american indigenous peoples concept. Crying owl was a fictional character I formed and came up with to place inside a short story back then. The name of the short story was, " Horse Killer Walks. " At one point after having completed the story I had a close friend review it, and, as he was an engineering student at our nearby university, and noting that he was an excellent 'fine pencil' artist, I asked him if he would sketch out a picture from his mind as to what he imagined Crying Owl would look like. That sketch turned out to be monumental. Absolutely movingly accurate. For the record, the picture in this graphic is 'not' the work he did. Rather I found this free to use art piece on the internet and used it because it was a close facsimile. Meanwhile, I have the original 'Crying Owl' artwork here with me. I keep it near in a portfolio along with my other writings.

Anyway, Tul, thanks again. Be well and be safe there,

Tul,

Very interesting history about you as a wild dove. I can see it, Tul. I can see it. And very interesting history of your da pulling over and talking to a bear. I'd have loved to be there for that one. What balls he must've had, eh? I like how he looks in your profile photos. Again and exact duplicate of your poet nowadays. If he and I stood next to one another in front of a captive crowd they'd laugh at the resemblance. Uncanny it is.

Listen, Wild Dove, thank ye for being so enriching and so very kind. If ye wish I am at;
