Ode To Love in A Far Garden

Ode To Love in A Far Garden The gods, like a gentle flock of birds at rest on a dew damp branch, glistening, Boldly chant in the holy season of their coming, and they show us the way, - Entry into the ancient, dark halls where we remain housed, restive, listening, For songs of timeless untold century and the green forests of silence, out in day, Far garden, fair, gathered and invisible, give to us the simple meaning of your presence, Speak to us of harmony and nature - calls out to us from where silent moons enchant, And in your seclusion enclose us in the rhythmic lilt of the soft gift of your pleasance, Your ode to love in a far garden, your song of gladness, that which so few would grant. chronicliar75,
Yes, I very much enjoyed reading that poetic fling in our last conversation. I read it and thought, " My, she's got real talent. " No doubt about it, chronicliar75, ye need to continue on. I see goodness here. Thank ye, chronicliar75, tommo / Ireland |

From the Author's Desk:
Yes, I like this one. A bit baser in it's poetic rhyme makeup, but still, unique in it's own right. It does display rhythm to some degree. A bit choppy but worth the glance. And so, thank you all for taking your important time out to peruse this. I am appreciative, and, as for all of you with glasses in hand under a low lit nightlite, let me just say that ye bless me with your kindness. Your reading my works makes me smile inside. Be well, all of ye, Thom Carlisle ( Irish Tommy Moran ) - Ireland. |

From the desk of the Author: Below, please find a written bit of casual praise in reference to my, " The New Birth of The Family of Words " which was recently placed inside the cool body of a poetry forum here nearby and online. After reading I found this poetic refrain rather interesting . Interesting and unique. And I thank this gentleman. === Even if dollars mattered such that there be on offer a ransom a googol dollars worth, it would be only ... unjust For in the place of a single word from the nib of your quill; I'd stay my fist tightly clenched My head i'd make to starboard tilt So my ears are rendered extraordinarily poised. Balanced on the keel, overcome by rapture As breath prayers are intoned by the motion of my lips while they recite: Blessed are we that Thou fortune mingles here. There be only One, One, Oh One, tommy boy A Mighty fine poet at that. From The Desk of Writer/Poet, Dreadaye - Great Britain. Mingle2 Poetry Forum === Author's Note: I've included this comment piece on my Facebook page directing it's content to the Public - at large. As for the writer/poet, Dreadeye, I can only say that I am humbled. tommy boy / Ireland |

Big Joe, ( joethebricky, )
Thank ye so much. I'm glad this piece hit ye roundly, softly in the emotional gut, Big Joe. For this piece was meant to do so. It was meant to trip us all onto those deeper scales, that we be caught up momentarily, weighing out the lengths and depths of our own personal modern, common understandings of the written word - immemorial. The game. The word game. Wordplay, Big Joesph, wordplay!! ![]() ![]() Thank ye my friend, Thom Carlisle ( Irish Tommy Moran ) - Ireland |

Wow, Dread,
That was absolutely deep my good, fine warrior friend. And I always realize you're just that deep. Your previous throws were very much the same. I miss your work, Dread. And if I were across the pond in a pub with ye right now I'd reach out and shake your hand. It's good knowing ye, Dread. I'd be proud. Thank ye, tommo / Ireland |

The New Birth of The Family of Words We were born to dispel those things which cause us to stray from the greater graces And the freedoms of the holy resurrection of the family of words, We were born to caress these sparkling gems, these restive written refrains, ( . . . Word family holds us in and seals us! ) Eminent. Just. The hand graces holy parchment gliding freely o'er it's face in the name Of soft governing and our need to sit alone in the dark and write to appease the gods, We lend an ear to the air to hear what little it is there, these gems our calm masters share, Words are the dry blood-meal for hungry, snapping dogs, bleeding, hidden away from the day, Waiting, waiting to drag us into the cold, vacuous, damp caves of those strays found sleeping, While outside in the tree tops far from the caves, birds in the early morning of their sadness weep, Written verse in the stomach of a book, ancient leaning concepts meant to prevail, we duly elect Criers of the simple - made real, and we spark adversity in all things living and we hail, That which makes us grow in the tender semblances of holy, meaningful night, ( . . . For meaningful night and the new birth of the family of words remain our only hope. ) Thom Douglas Carlisle ( Irish Tommy Moran ) - Ireland === ![]() === |

Dread, my warm friend,
Yours is a special place. A cave of your own. One cries out for you at it's opening wondering if he, or she would be welcome inside. This is the story of Dreadeye. And, ye welcome everyone in without direct concern for your own safety. For you are a bard, a poet in real. Thank ye kind Sir. tommy boy / Ireland |

Thou Hast Cast a Relevant Shadow Thou hast cast your relevant shadow across the soft and gentle rain, In the sum of the body of our circumstance, we're here together again, Sit with me under a tree when the moon illuminates a black, dark night, And let's hide away embracing one another 'til morning's bright new light, Never a moon so bold nor a pasture so green, in a world so beautifully serene, And in this gentle scene we covet tiny rainbows like love's soft song in a dream, Tranquil are we - the world, yielding to noone more meaningful, more pure than we, For our sanctuary remains in the garden of our language of the earth and the sea.
