I can't stop laughin' now...
I just love the particularly unique way you expressed your ideas here....You slowly and quietly "induce" a hypnotic like state, and then Wham! the reader is "awakened" with "GRAB IT!"....and then, a central truth is so clearly and directly revealed. I mean, how cool is that?!

She was young She was kind she was lovely and had a right mind She was a happy child Golden within her temper was mild and smiles were flippant Her skin was fair her eyes were blue She had golden hair and happiness through and through Her parents adored her everyone too She was their world as everyone knew As the days passed and years as well She became more beautiful and lived in her own hell Many people stared many people gawked Her face was a mirror when her innocence was lost She never told anyone No one seemed to care Because she had bright blue eys and long golden hair Wow. This is a very powerful write, and commentary. It reminds me of something I saw posted years ago on the subject of "Beauty," and how an individual's pain can be easily unseen or unattended to simply because one is outwardly seen as "Beautiful" ...leaving him or her in a state of isolation. |

I can only describe this as graceful, it flows like a beautiful ballet.... Thank you Emmy ...Jen recently lost the man she was betrothed to...during their engagement period he was hit with cancer, and it was a long haul for both of them...he passed about 2 months ago. She was there every step of the way, loving him through it all. Being a writer, I asked the Sacred to allow me to be a conduit to pass on any message her Loved One might want her to have...this is the message I was given. I send it to her and can only hope it brings her comfort, strength and peace. |

Love, death, goodbyes, and living.... I think that sadness is in the air this month.. A very beautiful poem Angel and a great knowing, thanks.
