I personally know people that hate Harry Potter and other shows or stories like this. I've seen Harry Potter and so has my little girl. She knows it's not real. If people don't want anything to do it, then watch it. My sister actually didn't let her kids watch it but they could watch rated R movies with profound language. 
I wish the Vatican would speak out about more pressing matters that are affecting the world. 
I totally agree. Alot of people I know dont like Harry Potter. I didnt mind watching it. I tell them yeah if I wanted something to fly across the room. I would just throw it myself!! Because if you didnt want your kids watching certain things like with cussing and all that. You cant help but not hear it because about every show you watch has profanity or whatever in it!! |

sense my daughter and grandkids wont be here for thanksgiving my mom had talked about feeding the homeless for yrs so this yr were going to help a church feed the needy. and it will be the 3rd annerversary of a old bf that past on thanksgiving.. he had a website up where he mention all the holidays but not thanksgiving and i mention something about it to him, but i dont recall what he said. as for xmas. well geeze i started buying presents right after xmas last year... LOL i bought my great nephew something the other day.. as for my daughter and grandkids i dont think they will be here for xmas either unless we can find them a way to get home.. so they will get money if anything for xmas. so my daughter could buy what they want Yeah that sounds like a great plan to feed the needy. Its sad to see people homeless or starving!! |

Alot of them have made me cry. But the one that really gets me is I Loved Her First by Heartland  great song. already have this song picked out for my father, daughter dance at my wedding.

Actually, there are 2 songs which make a "grown man cry". The first one is "You Raise Me Up" by Josh Groban. The song is so inspirational and uplifting, especially when sung in the manner Groban performs it. I sense that the song has a religious and spiritual context. I recall his Super Bowl rendition of it, honoring the crew of the 2003 space shuttle catastrophe. To me, the song conveys the message that "all hope is not lost", and we can receive comfort and inspiration from those who care about us at our bleakest moment. The second song is "One Moment in Time" by Whitney Houston. As I remember, she recorded the song for the 1988 Summer Olympics. To me, the song embodies how many of us strive to achieve greatness in life, our professions, or sporting endeavors. For a select few, all of the elements intersect and they aspire, excel, and achieve paramountcy in a given pursuit. For these individuals, it seems as if they were "destined" for greatness. I totally agree with you on that song!! He always has done a great job on it =) |

my whole family lives within 5 minutes of each other (grandparents, parents, sister and her family, aunts, cousins) so I see them ALL the time but it is nice for get togethers with lots of food Yeah I have some that live not too far from in the same town lol. I also have family from all over. I have a huge family on both sides!! |

A good pop on the rump aint gonna hurt them. They need to learn whats right and wrong.
