Stained... all over my favorite shirt...
One of those tuff ass stains...
not made from dust, or dirt...
Nor green of the grass, from sliding across,
Not drip of mustard, or jelly, or pie...
This shirt has been ruined by something much worse...
A permanent, everlasting dye.
Stained... what can I do,
This stain is stuck on my shirt like glue...
but it's red, and it's deep,
And it's just getting bigger...
so much bigger, so much wider,
How it does that, my thoughts do styme...
It seems as tho it flows from beneath my shirt,
Ever flowing, all the time.
Stained... Stained from the heart,
color that flows like the ocean...
How in the world, can I ever figure out,
how to wash out such a stained emotion...?
Stained.. my favorite shirt...
not by spill, or splash,
not by squeeze or squirt...
It's not even been stained by darkest of dirt...
I'm afraid it's been stained by hurt.
I'm afraid it's been stained by hurt...

She stood at the corner, as she leaned on her cane,
From a distance she could see a figure, coming out of the rain,
and her heart felt very weary, of this familiar sort of pain...
She was alone now.

As the green of the crosswalk, told her she could go,
She shuffles from the corner, he feet move pretty slow,
And with every step she takes, we can only watch her fear grow...
She's alone now.

The oranges that she carried, scatter quickly cross the street,
as closer to her coming, she can hear the harried feet,
and soon her and the figure, are guarenteed to meet...
She is alone now...

And the shadow about her flitters, bouncing from side to side,
From her left, and then her right, the play of light does ride,
And as the rain seems to illuminate, this ghostly, viscious bride...
He knows she's alone...

So he takes her by the elbow, and softly leads her across the street,
Says', I already picked up your oranges, why don't we rest, here, have a seat?
We'll let the rain let up a bit, before we catch our feet...
You're not alone now...
You're not alone now...

Well, it's just another one of those days...
sitting back, watchin thru the haze,
Can't seem to get my mind back, to where it used to be.
It was such a simpler time,
such easy meter, such easy rhyme...
when the poetry used to flow, by a man called me.
So where do I go from here?
I can't stop, anywhere near...
Far away, is to where I'll have to roam.
And then after a couple of years...
hard times, and many tears...
I'll be able to call this far away land... my home.
But still, is it really me?
that sets this verse to be free?
I don't understand, why I can't read myself...
So I'll take another look,
and like the dusty pages of a book...
When I finished, I can only place myself, back on the shelf.

Breath Taking of course, in knowing/learning the relationship between you and your brother...
Every individual, can take pride, and heed, in such a story... such a life.
live it to it's fullest, and never regret, those that we love.
Thank you Lurch...
and, Lurch's Sister.

I have a scar that runs from my left upper lip, below my eye, and back across my ear, where me and my girlfriend (long time ago this was) and her kid, were jumped by two mexican guys.
Lol... I had already finished disposing of them both, before I realised that the one punch they had thrown together, One cut me clear across my face with a buckknife, and the other stabbed me in the head with an 8 inch screwdriver...
Me, my girl, and her kid, were the only ones that walked away from the fight.
Praise god.

Lol... I really thought this question over...
and, none that I'm willing to talk about.

I think that a lot of it, is how long the relationship may have been, or how deeply each person loved...
Relationship was 7 years... in this case.
It's always easier to move on as quickly as possible, but there also always seems to be the curiosity of revisiting, and trying to figure what went wrong.
Not to re-capture the last love, but so as not to make the same mistakes with the next...
Lol... but I think that mistakes are sometimes the best parts of the relationships. Everything in moderation.

How long, if ever, should one wait, before throwing out the memories of a "bad love"?
Of course it depends on the person/people, and how much they are in love...
But what's your personal opinion/experience?
Lol... Looking at a box full of lost love, kinda got me down.

Lol... if you have looked, in one individual, for a good amount of time, and not found what you were looking for, Take one last long look, to double check why you're leaving, (either obvious, or talk it out) and then get outta there.
A true love, listens, and knows how you think about life, and each in the relationship, should try, try try,...
but why stay at the villa,
when you could be at the Caspa?
(laugh laugh laugh )
In other words... RIGHT

That's the way that it should be... but, in the same respect, he has to Know, and truly Believe, of the same in you.
I think once you know the love is real on both parts, do everything you can imagine, under Gods blue sky, to keep it... and share it.

Hard to do both at the same time, but that's what must be done.
Great read, thank you.
