Back again I'd like to finish So listen in Now you know Lurch is my brother He was a man Like no other Even when He was a child He was kind And not so wild He had his moments That with a grin He would climb Right under my skin Still I loved him Just as he was He always loved me Just because We had our fights And arguements too We stil loved eachother When it was through We lived through A lot of pain But we were smart And our friendship we gained Through the hard times He stood by me Never once backed down The whole world to see For many years We lived apart Then he came home And we got a fresh start He was a rocker A US Marine He turned cowboy The likes I've never seen Together we laughed Sometimes we'd cry Said, "I'm proud of you." The day he did die I will remember That for life Use it to cut my pain Like a knife I know he's watching All around me All my actions He does see Though he told me He is proud Wish I could hear it Again out loud Six years ago He saved my life He saved our mom Suffering and strife I guess that now There's more to tell But for now I'm covering the well I'll be back To finish my story Don't worry all It ends in Glory |
