your post makes the assumption that christianity is the only path to faith and an afterlife when in fact there are literally hundreds such paths....

this assumption that non-christian have no faith is quite insulting to those of us, myself included, who are of other faiths.

The truth for me is....I will not have a sexual relationship with a man I am just dating. But, if it were to get personal and intimate in our feelings to each other...and time was on our side; then I would wait til such time I felt we had something to build on. If we were thinking of long term....it would be easier to be sexually intimate.
For those that use the bible; it is written that it isn't a sin before marriage (I think) as long as you get married.

Having said that; I am not about to marry someone without trying it on first. I mean....there has got to be a little something something there.

It's an avatar I used when playing Leucippus Agamenom in a fantasy game. But in truth it does a good job of representing what I'm actually like in many ways. I've always been a bit of a rouge. I actually created the character of Leucippus Agamenom in my image. So it's no accident that he resembles me so closely. If I were to put on a costume like the fellow in the avatar I think you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference. He actually looks quite a bit like me. That's why I chose that particular picture.

I didn't do it to attract women. And besides, it looks a damn sight better than frogs, and some other things people use for their avatars.

I do have my actual photo in the profile too. Although that was taken when I was teaching college classes. In fact, I had just come home from work the day that picture was taken. In truth, my hair is much longer now (much more like the avatar now). And I wear a bandana almost all the time. I'm also in blue-jeans and color T-shirts and seldom if ever wear a formal suit anymore. You're more likely to find me with a tool in my hand doing some kind of work than anything else. Although I do spend far too much time typing on here too.

I'm actually rebuilding a piano tonight. I have the hammers laying all over the place here. I'm reshaping their heads between posts.
