its cowardly to shoot someone that has run away It wasn't cowardice. It was fear. and not harmed anyone
Not harmed anyone? Those thugs did harm someone, and that someone shot them. fear and cowardice can co exist how were the shooters harmed,,, they are both still alive yes? You are only considering physical harm aren't you ? Why should this elderly woman have to live in fear of these thugs ( or another group ) returning one day and actually causing physical harm. We as a society need to stop coddling these degenerates that prey on the weak and quit giving them excuses to commit crimes ! |

racism isn't in this thread,,,so IM not sure the continued reference nor has anyone implied that anyone disagreeing is racist... Haters? You've labeled us all racists before as your basis in other arguments....er uh....debates. Guess it's like changing "global warming" to "climate change". When you can't prove one, just generalize the topic what?! a hater is someone who hates I haven't mentioned or posted about racism in a while because IM hardly here anymore lets stay on topic,,,, I haven't generalized anything, its pretty clear humans have strengths and weaknesses people who cant acknowledge any strengths of another are best described as HATERS people who cant aknowledge any weaknesses could probably be described as WORSHIPPERS I worship no man, nor am I a hater. but certainly plenty of people hate on others as a full time hobby,,, And you want me to stay on topic? You're not a hater.... but you are quick to condemn..... NOW THAT'S FUNNY! And in a rather quite righteous way, does she condemn If We ( I ) were talking about some joe schmoe average dude down the street from me who wasn't keeping his lawn looking as well as I, then I could find something nice to say and simply over look his " faults & flaw " not some schmuck who willingly seek public office to represent " WE THE PEOPLE " !! It is like those hollyweird folks who complain about " being famous " and all the photog's who follow them constantly !! |

It is not hating when you're a realist, like myself !
He, the rodeo clown president, surrounds himself with people who's political views are socialist, marxist and or communistic who admire people like moa, che, chevas and castor and you want rational people to say something positive about him .... surely you jest !?! Maybe George Soros, Bill Ayers & Bernadette or even his youthful marxist mentor could find something nice to say about him .... |

He has only 2 1/2 years left to do further damage to the good ole
U.S. of A. and the world, if we can all survive it !! Sorry, but that's the best and most " positive " thing I can think of when anyone mentions THE RODEO CLOWN PRESIDENT know as BARRAK OBAMA ! |

Debtor prisons have never gone out of vogue, just ask the I.R.S. or
anyone who has had the pleasure of their services for failing to give Uncle Sammy what he feels belongs to him, ya know, his much needed " revenue " to finance " the nanny state " and the worlds " police " force !!!! As for the story, and this tragic incident, it is a shame that some see this as an attack on the poor and not on " poor " parenting skills. I believe this is more about poor parenting skills and life choices that this woman made which ultimately affect the/her children and their future. But there has to be a better way then sending them/her to prison !! |

I think it is much more important to keep your golf game up than get us involved in another war. We need to just stay the hell out of it....let them fight. "The more complex the mind, the greater the need for play." Spock Yup, just give Al Qaeda the entire country. That's great logic. OH, BTW yesterday they gained control of the remaining Chemical and Biological Weapons Iraq had left. You peacenik's sure think things though. You really think they are going to stop at Iraq's borders hold hands and sing Kum-By-Ya? No they are preparing for their next attack which will be against US. It is such a threat that it's got our bitter enemy Iran coming to the table and asking for our help because even they realize what is going to happen. Wait a damn second here !! Iraq has chemical & biological weapons !??! Are those not weapons of mass destruction ?!!? And have progressives been saying Duh-bya lied about those WMD and Iraq never had them when he invaded, ya know, lied to America about them But now obummer is using the same reason to launch another attack on Iraq ... ya can't make this up folks !! |

Obama is hated. Before he even took office. FACT So stop trying to hide your real reasons for hatred. Peace YES, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the friends he keeps ... lol if you would take a closer look at his friends, convict, you would know that they are marxists, socialists, communists and other radical elements on the fringe of the political spectrum. Hell even his mentor was a pervert and his mother did soft porn photo shoots. Who the hell would want someone like that as a president other than freaking idiots !! : ) |

Due to our vast cultural, educational, fiscal, social, spiritual… differences… (just to name a few)… it’s sometimes difficult to relate to others not from our similar environments… So……. Subject #1… Do our parents hold sway? To what degree of influence did/do our parents’ practices have over us, and the choices we make about who we bring home to meet them as a possible life partner? And… do we always respect their wishes, or do as we choose in contrast to them? Subject #2… Do couples hold sway? Likewise... To what degree of influence do couples have over the mindset and actions of each other? And… do we always respect the others wishes, or do we choose to live in contrast to them? interesting thoughts athena. on subject #1; i do try and live by the principals my parents and their generation lived by, after all they did create strong family bonds and more often than not, lasted a lifetime. they created a sense of pride and personal responsibilities which, as i see it, does not seem to be happening with the current generations. they knew thing would not always be easy ( for better or worse ) and were willing to stick with it out of commitment and love for each other. on subject #2; with the ever increasing divorce rate ( or relationship break ups ) it seems very little. to me it seems like a constant battle, my way or the highway syndrome. people now a days think it is always suppose to be easy and when the least bit of difficulties arise, they head for the door. in both subject matters, you will have the exceptions from time to time, kind of like the exception to the rules thing. I love how you describe your families history, as these are the way things used to be... and I am curious to discover if very many people carry on their family traditions, or let them fall by the wayside in our modern times... So, what I think I hear you saying is that there is no room for compromise anymore... now that women expect to be treated equally in all things, neither partner is willing to give in and take the lesser position of follower? So a stand off can eventually lead to break ups... yes, it does seem compromise has become a dirty 4 letter word .... lol i don't think it can, could or should be blamed all on equality since equality is a good thing and was ( is ) much needed in a fair society. the term " individuality " is more of the culprit the way i see this issue and couple that with equality we now see people unable, unwilling to form lasting bonds as couples. maybe it is a learning curve several generations will have to endure before we are able to become long term couples again where compromising isn't seen as being the weaker person but as a way to be a loving couple striving towards common goals and future ?!? also, maybe more time in the " courting " stage, learning about each others wants, needs and beliefs, before trying to forge long term goals ?!?! might be difficult in our time of " instant " gratification .... idk I really don't see a few generations being able to repair the loss of gender identity... if for no other reason than the Scriptures tells us that "in the last days "true love will wax cold"... if you give credence to that theory... and yes I agree, the "courting stage" is vital in its ability to help us make healthier personal decisions... you may be right on that, maybe a few hundred generations .... lol but you do not have to " lose " your gender identity to achieve equality although it does seem some so called " thinkers " are trying to make things gender neutral by eliminating certain words for our vocabulary and long standing behaviors that seem more natural than of a nurtured variety. ( in Europe more so than here but coming to a city near you if things continue ) we could easily embrace our natural difference while achieving equality. at least i believe so, imho ! not going to get into the religious aspects of this. I'm more of an agnostic/spiritual type, raised catholic person. i will say, there are many scriptures that do seem to be baring fruit. like they say, " there are no atheist's on their death beds " ... lol |

We meet by chance… fall in-like at first glance… can’t wait for romance… we unbuckle our pants... during foreplay we arouse our senses and curiosity… our passion controls us with its intensity… together in-lust our bodies are on fire… our minds are on the brink… and… we don’t stop to think… we react to our impulses… tearing at our clothes… we’re naked and exposed… craving and maintaining caresses… entangled and breathless… we can’t get enough of this… we two are now one… in-love and having fun… A lot of us test the waters(sex) before we jump in the pool(relationship) feet first. So… can awesome sex be what brings two people together at the beginning of an emotional connection? Is it possible to have nothing else in common except great sex, and yet still be able to make the relationship work to our equal advantage, if while staying together for the sex we learn to grow in other areas too? If we go our separate ways, then meet up again, and the old sparks reignite, is it acceptable to have one more tryst? i have had this experience happen to me three times in my life. twice before my failed marriage and once after. the one after was awesome sexually and was an on/off relationship for almost four years. the other two were much briefer but none the less awesome sexually. in all three cases there was not enough in common to sustain a long term meaningful relationship outside of sex. so in closing ..... lol .... NO !! but the jury is still out on, " if we run into each other " tryst in the future . awesome sex is sooo damn powerful !!! |

where some see misogyny others see poorly thought out humor that is
indeed done in poor taste but it is NOT directed at women, as the OP suggests. some actually see that this poorly thought out humor is directed at the unintelligent liberal thought process that, urinating, vomiting and or using menstrual blood as a affective defense against rape but rather those suggestions would anger the attacker and put the woman at greater risk of injury. why did they leave out fecal matter in their awesome suggestions of defending against rape ?!? if rape is truly about " power " and not about sexual arousal, using the above mentioned defense is actually more misogynist than these jokes and in my humble opinion, would lead to more and greater injuries to women attacked !! the person or persons who put forth those three suggestions as an actually defense against rape should be imprisoned for their stupidity and see if their suggestions work in the prison environment !! |
