![]() Be supportive and helpful and kind. Look into support groups for patients and their families that are facing cancer and/or termainal illness. Look into support for caregivers, perhaps through the hospital or your community. Caring for a loved one in this situation can be extremely stressful, draining, emotional...and there are people who provide relief and support for the caregivers. Turn to your church or religious group, if you have one. They should have resources or be able to put you in touch with other help. |

From what I've read, I tend to agree with some of the other posters. 1.) Is that he has some suppressed issues.and 2.) Is that he is probably gay, or at the least bi. Although I'm leaning toward #2. It could be #1.It's possible that he may have been molested as a child. This is just my opinion. If you want things to work. I hope that they do. ![]() So, because this young man doesn't want to go far or "all the way", then he must be gay or bisexual? If he were climbing all over her, that would make him what? A man? ![]() What kind of logic is that? Maybe he has some morals or values, which seem to be dying off these days. Or he has some sense and wants to be responsible, which also seems to be in short supply these days. I told the OP to give him a chance in an earlier post, but maybe you should get rid of him. Let him find someone that will appreciate his consideration, manners, morals, whatever is driving him. He also has told me that he's done more with me than any other girl he hangs out with. He never cuddles with him, holds hands, hugs, etc. The most we've done is I've given him handjobs and he's played with my boobs. I also met his dad last weekend when I went to his house for the first time. I live in my own apartment and he usualyl just comes to my place. He always tells me I'm pretty, or hot and things like that. I went to his bball games the past 2 weeks. All of his friends think I'm his girlfriend and they think I'm a good catch for him and he should go for it. But I'm not really sure thats what he's thinking. He also said that he has dated a few girls recently but always finds flaws in them that are deals breakers - like an ex heroin addict, and a girl who got depressed adn dropped off the face of the earth. So I asked him what the flaw was in me taht he found and he said there isn't any. When we're together I feel like his gf alot of the tiem - he pays for me. We hold hands if we're out and about, etc. And its nice that he pays for me because I know he doesn't have a lot of money - he's having trouble finding a job in broadcasting which is what he went to school for. Wow...I think he must trust you and feel comfortable with you, since he's done more with you. Don't take advantage of that, treasure it. And he hasn't found a flaw in you? Well, that might seem a little naive...but treasure that, as well. I've met plenty of guys that are more than willing to point out everything they think is wrong with me...including my ex. I think he sounds like a keeper. Why are you scared or concerned? I understand the confusion with mixed signals, but I think most of us are guilty of sending those out. You might want to give him some time and a chance. What have you got to lose? |

Since you posted in Texas, I assume you're looking for women in San Antonio or perhaps Texas in general? I'm in Houston and there seems to be plenty of communication with people in this area. I haven't done much posting, but I've observed a lot and since you asked, I'm offering a few suggestions...
Have you contacted any women your age? If so, what kind of contact? I've noticed many women on this site will not respond to IM, especially if that is your initial contact. Do you "Just Say Hi"? Or do you give them something to talk about in their reply? Post a picture. Unless you have an extremely good reason for not posting it (employment concerns, for instance), put up a picture. Women want to see you. Write something in your profile, besides that you are looking for conversation...What do you do? What are your likes/dislikes? Where are you from? If you contact me, but there is nothing or very little on your profile, I'm going to be hesitant. I'm also going to bored. So, write something. As suggested by other replies, post in the forums, if you're comfortable. And you're free to disregard all of the above, I'm just nosy and I like to offer advice. ![]() Good luck to you! This really is a good site and there are some great women on here (of course, the best are in Texas, but there are a few in other states)! |

Jews are considered a race. I believe that both the bloodline and the religion are passed from the mother.
Concerning the religion, my former mother-in-law converted to Judaism. Once she converted, my ex and his sister were considered Jewish (religion, not race). So when my former sister-in-law married a Jewish man (race and religion), she did not have to "convert" in order to marry him, she was Jewish in the eyes of the religion. |

Yes.
My former father-in-law is German, but he speaks fluent English. Almost the entire family spoke German, with different levels of fluency. I wanted to learn German, but didn't make much of an effort. I learned a few things along the way, but I couldn't carry on a conversation. It would have made family gatherings more enjoyable for me (and them) because I wouldn't have needed all of that pesky translating. |

The topic is firearms. Im all about the 2nd amendment, but as it referred in 1776, it is no longer a valid argument!! In 1776, when the most modern Army had muskets and cannon, the idea of keeping arms for defense against Gov. tyranny was a good point. Today it is mere symbolic. Are you kidding?? You do realize that government tyranny still exists, right? Even if you argue that it does not exist here (ha!), it is still a valid concern. This is not merely symbolic, it is a guaranteed right of the American citizen. And it is the backbone of the entire Constitution. If they take away the guns, then they can take away all of your freedoms and rights, because you will have no way to protest or protect yourself. |
