An old battleax of a woman said to Winston Churchill, "If you were my husband I would put poison in your tea.". Churchill's response, "Ma'am if you were my wife I would drink it.".

I'm in a unique situation I think, I have no ties to where I currently live, and because all of my business is done over the internet or phone a long distance relationship wouldn't be a problem. Meet in person get to know each other, everythings good, I could just move with no problem.bigsmile bigsmile

im was first angry...then crushed.

i am not the lying type...nor would i EVER make up such a story such as that. i am beside myself.

it bothered me because this was someone i considered a friend

"only those we care for have the ability to bring us so much joy or so much sorrow" I'm not sure who to attribute that quote to, however I find it very true.

Simply be glad you discover who your real friends are and refuse to allow the others to do more harm.

Be at peace Madam, and best of luck in your struggles.

"Foxworthy made it famous by interjecting humor on a group of people that wouldnt be offended by it and could laugh at themselves."

That is very true....I think I have heard just about every redneck joke there is.

The origin of the term redneck

The term redneck comes from the 1920's and the workers in west virginia trying to get a union in the coal mines. It was an armed revolt of sorts and they wear red bandannas around their necks for Identification. Because it started in WV the term has come to mean (wrongly) backwoods, ignorant, incest loving morons. As I am a native of KY and now live in TX this is not meant to be offensive just educational.

I wish I had had pet insuranc when my cat and dog both got cancer. They cost me thousands of dollars.

Ive had Ins. on Missy for 4 years, so far it has saved me almost $3500

I keep Insurance on my dog, mine covers her shots and basic lab work plus two checkups for what just the shots would cost. It also gives a discount on addition visits and care. You also have to figure puppies are like kids, never know what their going to get themselves into!
