I think a mostly deserted tropical island... with white sand... a little hut ... and a hammock on the beach.... personal staff.... a bunch of good books.... hhmmmmm... fresh pinapple and bananas.... rice... fish.... coconut milk.... and lots and lots of sun!!!! biggrin

That DOES sound good Tanya. The only part I'd maybe take a pass on is the coconut milk (yuch). Ever tried it ? It sounds better than it actually is imo. However, I'm no party pooper so bring on those coconut fed cows and let's get this party started !drinker bigsmile

uhmmm...the egg? See... My reasoning is that one day, when no humans were around to notice, the dinosaur evolved into a chicken right? Wallah!

Now...On to really important questions... Does anyone have a good recipe for using both the egg AND the chicken for a good party dish ?

Huevos la-orange? No...That's duck huh...

I'm not sure about your chances of actual success, but I admire your zest and proactive approach...

Better than a message in a bottle, but probably less effective than a club on the head.ohwell

j/k

All my best!

Well, barring static shock, rug burn, accidently setting off Norad's radar defenses, and hijacking threats, I'd love to visit the Detroit area to meet my favorite fellow Mingler, of course  flowerforyou

Yeah... I feel it's kind of creepy when folks show a lot of affection for snakes and such. I used to know someone who loved to cuddle with her anaconda and took great pleasure in feeding it live mice.
If someone has more than two or three cats, to me it's a sign that they might be socially incapable or unwilling of dealing with the complexities of focusing on people.

Just cats? What about more than two or three other types of animals?

Well, except for livestock, I'd maybe make the presumption that there could be a social deficit being it too many cats, dogs, snakes, rats, monkeys or whatever...

Of course this would only give me pause for thought. I only said "might", I didn't say it's a dead give away...

I agree with posters who've submitted that lack of experience (age) plays a role in disconnected feelings. I'd also suggest that a sizable number humans in general have simular feelings due to our evolution from a tribal society where we had support from our community, such as it was, to the society we now have, in which few of us even know our neighbors.
Not much is expected of us anymore, beyond conformity. Dad and his peers aren't grooming us to become leaders, or including us in the planning of the great mastodon hunt.

It's just my opinion but I think we've traded more than we know for the opportunity to download Snoop doggy dog's latest and wear designer labels.

..as long as both are legal, and they are fine with it,...it doesn't matter what others think, altho the difference in age may matter to some.... for those god invented the middle finger...bigsmile

i'm not in the position yet, but i bet i'd have issues if my daughter ended up dating a man 30 years her senior, or my son 20 his junior.

So true... Imagine this scenario; He's 56, she's 26. They "accidently" bring a new life into the world. He's got 3 from his first marriage, at least one of whom are older than her. They don't marry. Marriage is outdated after all...
She'll have one out of diapers hopefully before she has the other in diapers (his retirement plan?). He's lived his best years, she's giving him her best years. This is fair ?

This is a real life situation that I know of personally...

That reminds me of a story my Irish grandmother used to tell (to my chagrin) about how when I was not much more than a toddler, I watched my mom throwing out the left over spegetti we'd had for dinner. I asked her "grandma? What's that?" She said "garbage" So then the next time I found out we were about to have spegetti at the dinner table with my dad's boss at the time, she said that I blurted out with enthusiasm " OH BOY!!! Garbage!!!

I guess it was funnier when she told it.ohwell

Rest well Grandma. Love ya...
