She got up 1 hour earlier than him to put her make-up on, had full make-up when her 3 girls were born and said if she was sick and vomited, she always re-applied lipstick. I wanted to tell her she was mentally ill, but did not because she was truly a special person and co-worker. i dont know where she is now, but if she died, I'm sure the mortician had a good photo of her to get just the right make-up on.

Tom, i feel like you are getting a bit off-track. The original question was very simple and requires a simple answer like cat gave. I personally have been a caregiver to a family member who died. I could do it for awhile, but not for years.
so yes, i could be a willing caregiver for a few months, but not for a year or more. And cat, I have to say, most of the time I prefer the company of animals over people.

my grandsons graduation involved the seniors driving their cars to the three towns they are from (22 in the class) and then putting on their gowns and going to the football field for photos. All of them had yard signs made with their name and photo on.

I greatly disagree. maybe if you are college age now that works, but those things you mentioned were DEFINITELY a date from the time I was 14 until I was 60. sometimes it ended in a future invitation or a kiss and sometimes it was that one evening and done. And everyone around me knew it and felt the same way.

So I have no real idea how you would take a woman on a date and how you would expect her to act.

I have never gotten a flu shot. I did have to get a hepatitis shot when working for the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln. That I could understand. But a covid injection? NO

you might be surprised how many women write to strange men while the men are in prison. as far as employees + prisoners, its pretty common for love affairs to start. one of our "model" prisoners began a relationship without the warden knowing, writing to our librarian. She would write him ... no one looks at the letters unless they are a drug dealer. After 4 years he asked her to marry him. I stood up with her as her "bridesmaid" and one of our guards was his "best man". short and sweet. They were allowed one 2 second kiss. He truly seemed to be a nice man. When he was released 2 years later and went home to her, he just could not adjust to society. One night he tried to kill her. Yes, I was there when he came back in. BUT some of the relationships do work out.
