Alan Dershowitz, DEM laywer says YES, the state has every right to plunge the needle into your arm. (from The Blaze radio media and Dershowitz on YouTube). Would YOU fight getting the shot?

There is the right to refuse medications.

Some countries do have compulsory vaccination programmes . ... Especially when there is a threat to public health .

In the case of covid .. as a healthcare professional I would have the vaccine (provided I am happy with its safety and efficacy ) .

It is against divine law. I will not bow down. This vaccine is being called the human euthanasia vaccine. The powers that be released that virus to instill fear in the people. They want to depopulate US. People better wake up.

I believe China made the virus to eliminate their elderly population and it got away from them. They are so over-populated they dont care. I personally will fight being injected with who-knows-what. I have never gotten a flu shot. I did have to get a hepatitis shot when working for the Veterans Hospital in Lincoln. That I could understand. But a covid injection? NO

that is an incredible belief ..

Even if China had the intelligence to genetically engineer the furin cleavage site that enables efficient spread of covid In humans ... how did they target that to an elderly population .,...Covid is “indiscriminate “ and widespread . It does not just target elderly .. anyone can be infected . Depopulation versus economic collapse .., what exactly is the gain ???

China has always tried to exile or kill anyone who speaks against them. for years a couple was only allowed one child. The second child always "disappeared". now they do allow 2 children but boys are greatly preferred. If the virus "escaped" or was set to Italy, Europe and the USA, it will be hard to prove. The damage is done. The elderly and poor died by the thousands in china, and photos of some mass graves have been published. Do not blame Trump, Trudeau, Macron, Merkel or any of the world leaders for this pandemic. Blame CHINA.

researchers on Monday announced the most comprehensive estimates to date of elderly people’s elevated risk of serious illness and death from the new coronavirus: Covid-19 kills an estimated 13.4% of patients 80 and older, compared to 1.25% of those in their 50s and 0.3% of those in their 40s.

How is it done? It's called genetic manipulation. Labs have been fine tuning experiments genetically since they mapped the human genome years ago. I'm really shocked someone claiming to be in the medical profession is not aware of that.

Feel free to catch up on your journal reading. Since Human modification is frowned upon by the scientific community, you won't find examples of that..but if you can do it to a kiwi fruit or wheat, you can do the same thing for ANY living creature.

But wait...after an extensive google search taking 30 seconds...From 2018:

What is to gain? Well, the elderly don't produce. The majority are a drain on a country's resources providing little to no positive resources or input. If China were to get rid of a majority of their extensive elderly, it frees up state resources and costs the state less. We are currently experiencing this in America with most of the Baby-Boomers retiring and the remaining workforce isn't large enough to provide via Social Security. Is the purposely killing off a generation ethical? I think their response in Hong Kong issue that was going on right before Covid took over the headlines could be an example of their questionable ethics.

I've done nothing but offer academically-acceptable proof. These aren't Infowars or Coast2Coast AM references. Are you saying that NPR and Journals like Oxford Academic or the Plant Biotechnology Journal aren't reputable? You seem to be the one not willing to examine evidence and keep an open mind. Trump hatred has nothing to do with this, but nice deflection attempt.

can you please be more specific ., about how they genetically engineered covid to target just the elderly .laugh laugh laugh .

The DNA sequence of covid has been studied scientifically around the world . The only difference that has been found between covid and previous caronaviruses is the furin cleavage site . ( I can explain that to you in simple terms but I doubt it would help ). The site is not specific to the elderly . I am sure if there was any evidence of further manipulation science would have found it . While it is true the cleavage site can be genetically engineered it can also occur naturally .

Seniors, especially those above age 80, have been hard hit by the virus. That’s in part because they often have comorbidities like diabetes and hypertension, which make them more likely to be hospitalized. Doctors aren’t sure why those conditions make the effects of the virus worse, but both conditions are associated with greater expression of the ACE2 receptor, a protein on human cells that the coronavirus latches onto to start replicating.

Many older adults also have chronic, low-grade inflammation, a state called “inflammaging,” in which the body is unable to control the release of cytokines, small proteins that are supposed to help modulate the body’s immune response. This dysregulation could put seniors at great risk of “cytokine storms,” a condition reported in severe Covid-19 cases during which a patient’s immune system spins out of control and starts damaging healthy organs.

Seniors are also more vulnerable because of immunosenescence, a slow deterioration of the immune system that is a normal part of aging. When people are young, the immune system has a big reservoir of T-cells and B-cells ready to fight infections. These are called “naive cells,” meaning they haven’t encountered any bacteria, viruses, or other pathogens yet. When those naive cells encounter an infection, some of them learn to recognize that pathogen and become ready to fight it off if the body gets exposed to it again. “As we age, we lose that reservoir of T-cells and B-cells,” says Wayne McCormick, head of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine at the University of Washington. “It’s hard for us to make new ones, although some people seem to retain that capacity better than others.” That means the person’s body may mount a less robust immune system response than it would have done when they were younger.

Immunosenescence also means that diseases present differently in seniors, which may make it difficult for their doctors or caretakers to recognize a Covid-19 infection. While many Covid-19 cases include fever, for example, in seniors the symptoms might also include confusion, delirium, sleepiness, or loss of appetite. That may be because the virus has reached important organs like the brain, kidneys, or digestive system. “As one gets older, the virus can invade without being resisted as much, and then some really bad things begin to happen,” says William Greenough, clinical chief of the ventilator rehabilitation unit at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. “Particularly in older people, we’re seeing clogging of blood vessels in the brain and kidneys.”

that is not what I asked you ., I understand the pathophysiology of covid . I asked you about the genetic modification . How the cleavage site has been adapted to target only the elderly . You cannot make a claim
About genetic engineering of covid without backing it up . I posted why I do not think covid was engineered to affect the elderly . Perhaps reread my posts .

The "bad news" in the SARS-CoV-2 case is the new coronavirus carries its mysterious genome in the form of a very long ribonucleic acid (RNA) molecule. Grappling with COVID-19 pandemic, the world seems to be lost with no sense of direction in uncovering what this coronavirus (SARS-Cov-2) is composed of. Being an RNA virus, SARS-Cov-2 enters host cells and replicates a genomic RNA and produce many smaller RNAs (called "subgenomic RNAs"). These subgenomic RNAs are used for the synthesis of various proteins (spikes, envelopes, etc.) that are required for the beginning of SARS-Cov-2 lineage. Thus, the smaller RNAs make good targets for messing up new coronavirus's conquering of our immune system. Though recent studies reported the sequence of the RNA genome, they only predicted where their genes might be, leaving the world still drown in disorientation.

"Not only to detailing the structure of SARS-CoV-2, we also discovered numerous new RNAs and multiple unknown chemical modification on the viral RNAs. Our work provides a high-resolution map of SARS-CoV-2. This map will help understand how the virus replicates and how it escapes the human defense system," explains Narry, the corresponding author of the study.

It was previously known that 10 subgenomic RNAs make up the viral particle structure. However, the research team confirmed that 9 subgenomic RNAs actually exist, invalidating the remaining one subgenomic RNA. Researchers also found that there are dozens of unknown subgenomic RNAs, owing to RNA fusion and deletion events.

"Though it requires further investigation, these molecular events may lead to the relatively rapid evolution of coronavirus. Moreover, we find multiple unknown chemical modifications on the viral RNAs. It is unclear yet what these modifications do, but a possibility is that they may assist the virus to avoid the attack from the host," says Narry.

The research team suggests that modified RNAs may have new properties that are different from unmodified RNAs even though they have the same genetic information in terms of RNA base sequence. They believe if they figure out the unknown characteristics of RNA, the findings may offer a new clue for combatting the new coronavirus. Newly discovered chemical modification will also help to understand the life cycle of the virus.
