can any one help me,,i got a two month old tattoo the word redemption and half of it stays up why???and what can i do to make it settle???pls help

i have a new tattoo 2months old and for the most part its ok but certin letters dont want to go down they stay raised???what can i do to lower them,coldwater,warmwater,anything i can rub on it???[ls help some one

i just got a tattoo on the uper part of my forarm,its the word redemption,the tattoo came out nice but it stays raised???some of it at times will go down but for the most part it stays up,,,can any one give me advice on what to do???begging for help
