Post pics of your tattoos, or tattoos you want, and generally discuss them here. Love em? Hate em? Don't know if you should get one? Ask it here :) Personally, This is one I drew for myself, that i was thinking about getting.

Right ankle (my first) in honor of making it through the police academy and passing my state test. for my son (who was an in-vitro baby- and born premature by a month) I've collected Garfields (mostly as gifts) since I was a kid. I will eventually get at least one more.

So far, all my tattoos are were done as a part of my personal healing process! Not sure if it's cheaper than a psychiatrist, but eh....works for me. Got this on the 1yr anniversary of my Dad passing! This one was done for several reasons! First of all the dragon & phoenix are a sign of good fortune and success with the yin-yang being the ultimate symbol of balance. I have struggled with success in my career path so in part, this is a good luck charm! The more I have learned to create and maintain balance in my life and heart....the more successful I became! It's also a memorial to my marriage, being a symbol for soulmates. The dragon being a self expression as I was born in the year of the dragon. The phoenix symbolizes the perfect mate & I feel this tattoo helped a great deal to realize that my ex hubby was not what I thought for so many years. In realizing what an ideal mate that would balance or complete me would be like, I have been able to let him go and finally heal! I don't have any pics of my third tattoo that is a memorial to my first pit bull & I've had that one for 15 yrs and it's still as lovely as the day I got it! Tomorrow I am getting tattooed with my bff of 20 yrs! A celtic claddagh, which is a symbol of friendship, loyalty, and trust. More to come as I work up ideas for my graduation tattoo The main part of that will be my paint horse represented as a unicorn, but there will be other things to symbolize my path through graduate school...can't wait

Firefly, these are awesome!!! Thanks...so awesome to have had my friends all my life :) This year is 20 yrs for me and both of my bffs. Had all of my closest friends for an average of 2 decades and wouldn't know what to do without them This one especially The only time we ever lost contact was only for about 8 months when she first got married! Found each other again through mutual friends & we have shared our most memorable moments in life together, good and bad! I planned this in February & didn't tell her we were getting these until we got to the tattoo shop yesterday

Thanks! I really like my artist & he enjoyed doing that one. It was a challenge for him, but he did a fantastic job given that I was particular about how I wanted the dragon and phoenix to look!

Whenever I FINALLY get to it (and finalize what I want) I have my artist picked out to devirginize me. I've known him for close to 20 years and he KNOWS I'm picky as h3ll, but he's still itchin' to stick me. BTW, if anybody in SW NY/ NE PA is looking for ink, I got your guy! ;)

I saw these and wanted to share. I thought they were awesome I would really like the one running down her side, and up to her breast, where my breast was removed. I think it would make it look much prettier.... im not getting an implant! I love this bottom one...thats for me. I think its beautiful!!
