I said that back at the beginning when the only real canidates the Dems were putting forward were Obama and Clinton. They just threw away the best chance they ever had to get back in the White House. Seriously, the dems should have walked away with this next election and they blew it before they evn got out of the primary.

Id like to point this out. Notice how even the GOP primary candidates worked with each other, while all the Dem Candidates could do was talk bad about each other. Wonder how well they would have worked with anybody else if they couldnt even work with themselves.

I love the multi party system, but its only going to work to our advantage if we can all get along. The idea is to meet in the middle and as far left and/or right we have been lately Im glad someone like McCain is an option.

Interesting. I grew up on a farm and we used to bottle feed the calves all they time. They were seperated from the cow when they were a few days old...and we rarely had a problem with them taking the bottle.

You must have lived on a dairy farm. Once they get used to their mommas teet its not such an easy task. Its not like its impossible, but it takes a couple of days and considering they have to have several feedings a day, it SUCKS!

I went out to feed the cows and one that had just had a baby about a week ago had dies. I know they are just animals and I seel their babies for hamburger, but I really hate it when I lose one. This was one of my registered ones as well. It really sucks. Not to mention, now I have a little baby bull calf that I am going to have to bottle feed. I know, right now all you girls are going "awe, how cute" but its really a pain in the butt, and let me tell you. Feeding a calf from a bottle is not natural for the calf, you have a war on your hands everytime until he figures it out. Not only do you have to get him over his nautural fear of you, you also have to convince him to take a big rubber nipple that feels nothign like his momma in his mouth and decide to start sucking on it.

Sorry, just a little pissing and moaning. sad

I am not of the dead, but yet I am not as you. I can feel, but not be touched; touch, but not be felt; felt but not be seen. I can be seen where I am not and not seen where I reside. Time is but a fleeting breath of wind to me, forever waiting for the end time when the doors of heaven and hell will be flung open allowing my father and mother to reunite, making our family once again whole.

“How did I get here?” I asked, my tongue moving, but no sound escaping my lips.
“The burning ring surrounding this clearing protects it from evil. No creature of heaven or hell may enter it with evil intentions. I felt your approach as I do all creatures, but when the fires did not burn higher in warning, I grew curious as to what manner of creature you were. I came upon you locked in mortal combat with the demonic host, guardians of the portal and these woods, slaves of my father. I could see you were no longer of your true mind, your eyes were blank with death as traded blows with the host. Every touch of their breath, blow of their limbs and satanic echo landing upon your ears was evil in its purest state. A lesser creature would have succumbed, but still you fought on, enraging their demon souls even more. Their lust for your soul was insatiable, as they fought you and amongst themselves over who would be allowed to have you.

Out of difference to my father, I have never intervened in the order of the woods before, but I felt the goodness of your heart spilling out and made the mistake. My fathers slaves where not happy with neither my presence nor intervention and swore they would tell my father of my transgression as they fled back into the darkness.

My mind started to fill with a thousand questions as I began to speak. “Quite” replied Luz. “My father will hear you and will not be pleased that you are here with me. Do not make my mistake worse. The evil has not left you and you are still weak, rest now! I will awaken you when it is time for you to go.”

My mind went silent, and the voice of Luz left me, although she was still gazing on me with open eyes that warmed me to my soul. Slowly she turned from me, back to the fire and resumed casting the powders upon it. I tried to fight my heavy eyes, but it was a losing battle. Without Luz’s voice in my mind, I had no will to continue fighting the cloud that was pulling me to sleep and I closed my eyes.

2.

I was running through the woods with the demonic host slashing at my skin. They were all around me, screaming in a tortured voice. They finally had my soul in their grasp and would make me pay for my trespass. I felt them fall upon me, shaking me, urging me to quickly awaken. I opened my eyes and Luz was standing before me. I felt an instant peace that flowed though my body with both lust and love intertwined. I saw a brief smile cross her lips and was embarrassed that she must have known my thoughts. “You were dreaming.” she said. “Now you are awake. Quickly though, my father is coming. His little spies have told him what I have done. In his wrath, he destroyed the messenger and is now on his way to me. You must not be here upon his arrival. Quickly now, you must go!” Luz must have read my mind as she replied, “do not worry about my well being for he is my father and he will not harm me. You must go alone!” Luz ran her hands seductively across her body. From the artwork, she produced a bright star, materializing from her very body as she caressed herself. “Here, take this of me. It was a gift from my father to my mother, who in turn gave it to me. I am now giving it to you. She pressed it to my chest and it began to emit a fiery glow. I felt it engulfing my body as it became part of me. I looked down and saw a blue star both upon my skin and in my skin. A star with no center, made of five lines making five points. As I looked on I felt it materializing not only on me, but within my very being. SuddenlyI heard a roar that sounded to be straight from hell, a roar that silenced all the creatures of the woods that had been constantly cackling until that time. I felt Luz’s hand upon skin, although I could not see her touch. “Go Now, my father is coming and the creatures have fled. Go now, but do not forget me and I will be with you.” I felt her touch leave my skin as I turned and fled into the dark trees, praying I was headed in the right direction.

I was awaken by the feel of cool water gently splashing across my forehead. I could hear a ringing in my ear like a thousand church bells calling the faithful to prayer as I slowly returned to consciousness. My eyes fluttered open and fell upon a wondrous creature standing before me gently caressing my body with a damp cloth made of wool. She smiled at me as she noticed my awakening. I was instantly filled with a since of wellbeing. I slowly became aware of my surroundings. I was in the middle of a great clearing on the forest floor, although the limbs of the trees reached far out in to the clearing, closing off all but a small window from through which I could see the nighttime sky above. The stars of the heavens showed through and seemed to be chasing back the very evil of the woods, banishing it from this tiny clearing of light. I could feel the warmth of it passing through my body and rejuvenating my soul. The edges of the clearings were marked with giant gourds, glowing blue with an unearthly light, which somehow reminded me of the porch front jack lanterns of my youth. I could see the demonic eyes of my pursuers peering from the trees just beyond the light of the clearing. My heart began to beat faster and I felt my breathing rise in angst. My eyes began to fleet around the clearing in panic and landed on my benefactor. She was standing next to a mysterious fire that appeared to be burning without aid of tinder or kindling. The warm light of the fire cast a golden glow across her body, which was clothed and not clothed all at the same time. All except for her neck and face, she was covered head to toe in drawings of art, both earthly and heavenly at the same time. The art seemed to be alive changing and moving across her body in an erotic dance of life, never appearing in the same spot twice. I could not tell if she was spirit or flesh. She stared at me with comforting eyes that seemed to reach into my very mind, reading my fear of the forest demons and my confusion; as she cast strange powders into the fire causing the blue lanterns encircling the clearing to glow brighter. I heard a soft angelic voice bidding me not to worry, saying all was ok, that which I feared could trespass beyond the clearing edge. I stared back into her eyes as she began to speak although her lips never parted and her tongue never moved.

She said, "My name is Angeldeluzdecielo although I have been called many things through time. I have been here since before your understanding. I walked this soil when the timbers crossed the land from the home of the jaguar to that of the white bruin. The ancients worshiped me, offering up sacrifice and gift as if I was a god, although I am not. I am of the Nephilim. My father was of the heavenly host and my mother was of the earth as you. Their love was true, but a sin in the eyes of The Creator. My father was banished to the depths of hell for his love of my mother. What is of the heavens can not die, but what is off this earth can perish. The Great One destined these disembodied souls to forever wander the earth for the sins of their parents. My father in his love for my mother would possess the soul of a mortal man and return to her arms, she taking his physical body into hers, always knowing the truth of his love regardless of physical presence. Together they decorated my body with the pigments of heaven hell and earth to protect me from the same tortured state upon death of my Nephilim brothers and sisters. My mother has long since departed this world and resides in the heavens to which I have no access. The door to my father's house lies within the center of this forested gateway. No creature within its bounds would dare lay a hand upon me in fear of falling under the wrath of my father. He visits me here in this clearing where he can look upon my mother and she can gaze down upon her true love from the stars above.

My steps grew faster and faster, first to a trot and then finally a panicked run. I could hear the cloven hooves of the satanic presence behind me beating upon the hard packed ground of the forest floor. I gripped the crucifix hanging on my neck from a golden chain in hopes that it would somehow protect me from this evil entity in close pursuit. I ran blindly now in utter terror for my very soul. Violently pushing though entangled limbs without slowing, determined to make my own way through this evil place and not merely follow the demonic caretakers intended path to my doom.

The limbs of the trees had become possessed by the prince of darkness himself. Clawing at my winter jacket, slashing at my naked face, slowing my flight of terror, as I pushed blindly through the devils fence. I could feel the warm blood flowing down my cheeks from wounds inflicted by the devils presence. The blood burned my skin as if the very idea of its demonic cause increased the pain. The woods began to scream at me as if the sight of my human blood was antagonizing them into fits of rage beyond control. I felt hands upon my shoulders as I spun around in a tantrum of fear, fighting of my invisible attacker, my heart beating with a life all its on, racing faster and faster as I swung one blow after another at nothing, but connecting with something. My fear had embodied me with ecclesiastical strength. Blows landing so hard that I felt as if my very fist would break on the steal they were landing on. Suddenly I felt a force upon my head that rocked me to my very core, A blow that caused first a blinding flash of light and then utter darkness as I fell to the ground. Only semi aware of my flight from consciousness into the dark abyss of my mind.

The last rays of warmth had long fled this dismal portal to hell.

The dark creatures which had been so recently follwing me from hidden depths were now openly on my trail. Their sinister shadows just byond my line of sight as I heard them dragging their shattered bodies across the death that littered this canapied house of horrors.

I could hear the demonic chants of their tortured souls as I looked around the forest floor. A futile attempt in search of a weapon I might use in my defense.

I began to walk faster and with a lighter step, lest I awaken any more hidious creatures spawned by the devil to my scent. The very trees of the forest seemed to come alive as I pushed through their entangles masses. Limbs that had previously dragged at my jacket now parted as if guiding me to a dark destination not of my choosing. Any attempt on my part to deviate from this forced path met with an impassable fence of intelocking limbs and branches. I was now at the sole mercy of whatever prince of satan had control of this evil place.

So there I was, lost in the deep interior of the Haunted Forest, wondering why I had ever been so foolish to even enter. Why oh why had I not listened to to the screams in my mind warning me not to go farther as I passed one piled bone warning after another.

Now it was too late. I had been walking for hours and getting nowhere. Walking for miles in a single direction that I knew wasnt possible. I was very familiar with the map of the area surrounding these woods, they just werent that big. I should have come out the other side long ago, but they were just geeting deeper and deeper.

I could feel the sun setting somewhere in the West and knew that any friendly ray of fleeting light that was now somehow managing to penetrate this evil place would soon abandon me to my own stupidity.

With the setting of the sun set I had began to feel the wicked pressure of hidden eyes upon me. I could feel the glowing heat from demonic eyes following my every move and could even see them from the corner of my eye as the last ray of Angelic warmth set over the hidden horizen.

I had long since given up my quest to find the lone calf that had wondered into this evil place. The messenger of Satan that had taken possession of it from afar and used it to entice me to follow to within its satanic grasp. The calf of Bail was no longer on my mind as I now just prayed angelic deliverence from this wicked place. For a thinning of the woods that would signal safety was near.

I slowly removed my foot from the stirrup as I swung out of the saddle. I couldn’t tell if it was the creaking of the leather or the groaning in stomach that serenaded my decent to the hard packed ground. I longingly remembered the other half of the sandwich I had had for lunch still sitting on the table back at the ranch house. That lunch seemed like years ago. This was not supposed to have taken so long. I had just needed to tag three new calves, what is so hard about that? The first two went very easy, just as they are supposed to, but the third calve belonged to that crazy momma cow who took off as soon as she saw me ride over the ridge. Now here I was tracking them through the dry dust of the ranch. We had not had any rain in some time and any moisture at all would have been welcome. Nevertheless, the lack of moisture was working in my favor now. I could see a clear trail of my quarry heading off toward the wood line. My heart skipped a beat when I saw where they were headed. This ranch was just on the edge of the Chickasaw Nation in the old Indian Territory of Modern day Oklahoma. Many old cattle trails converged on this ranch headed over to the springs, the Chrisom Trail being the most famous of these. This was also the site of a terrible massacre by the U.S. Calvary against the friendly Caddo Indians. Their had been lots of death associated with this area and many tales of the supernatural going back hundreds of years. This was the twentieth century though and most people around here just scoffed off the unexplainable as figments of our collective imagination. I knew better though! I had traveled every inch of this ranch, every inch that is except for the one place the two wary bovine were now headed. A place even the most doubtful locals refused to go. The early settlers had built a church on Veminy Ridge overlooking the forest in hopes of preventing the spread of the evil that emitted from its barren tree line into the surrounding countryside. There was still a church standing there to this day fighting an unholy battle with the demonic presence inside the woods. Piles of bones were stacked along the edge, as underworld warning to any mortal man foolish enough to trespass its boundaries. Stacked higher and higher during the dark of the night by who knows what. This was where my wayward charges were heading. I hoped the momma cow, as crazy as she was, would no better than to go in there. Nothing that entered those dark woods ever came back out alive, the pile of bones would just get higher.

I jumped back into my saddle and touched metal spur to my horses side. Racing after the two shadows in a vain hope of heading them off before they entered the forbidden woods, but my blind rush was to no avail. As I came upon the momma cow standing at the wood edge bawling for her baby. I heard the distant cry within the dark woods of the baby crying for her mother. The momma cow would start into the woods, but then stop and quickly return to the light of day. The baby would just keep crying from within, louder and more panicked with each scream. I tried to enter the woods to recover her, but my horse balked a the edge and would go no farther. Reluctantly I dismounted, cursing the stupidity of cows and the fleeting sun as I tied the reins to a scrub of oak growing along the path. I looked a the sun figuring I still had at least an hour of light left and pushed into the woods after the sound of the crying baby.
