Putting Your Heart Out There

Scary world, equally frightening is the people inside said world. Have anyone of you guys taken a chance and confessed how you felt for somebody you loved? Thrown caution to the wind sorta speak? For the first time I did. I actually feel kind of liberated, regardless of the reaction. Certainly feels like a weight has been lifted. Feel all growd up.
I've done it once. Long story short, I didn't get the response that I AND everyone else thought id get. Things were never the same after that and I lost a very good friend. I won't do it again.. |

Today I was helping a friend with her wedding plans. I still can't believe they're getting married in a few months. I met her at 17 when I first went to college. We stayed close friends since. Almost 7 years ago, where does the time go??!! Soooo happy and excited for them

i dont think its wrong per say, but i do have my doubts. well to me your husband sounds like a right prize idiot and do not let anyone else pressure you into something you do not want sexually of course he can satisfy all of your needs - he needs to man up and do so Maybe he can't? He did say she can have a GIRLfriend, not a BOYfriend.... I was waiting for someone else to cop that. |

So this girl I really like who I have on facebook posted some status about how she was trying to sell a ticket to some concert. And me this girl never really talk but I messaged her and was like " hey Im interested in your ticket if you still have it etc....blah blah blah" The thing is is Im not interested in this concert at all. I just wanted to have an excuse to message her and maybe be able to meet up and parlay it into a date. You see what Im saying? So she replied back something like "I might be selling it to a friend, but I will let you know in a few days if that doesn't pan out! I just wanted __ for it" so.....I guess just wait to see if she wants to sell it and meet up somewhere? And then be like "Hey I just realized I don't want your ticket but how about we go grab cofee?" lol or how do I play this/ Well I've heard some stories before, this is a good one Lol.. You know this girl already so you are one step ahead, believe it or not. Of course you can message and ask her on Facebook, it's 2012 people do it all the time. All you have to say is Hey ''Mary'' How are you? I won't be able to take that concert ticket after all, sorry about that. I haven't seen you around in a long time, I was wondering are you seeing anyone at the moment? Do it, do it, do it....Oh and let us know how you get on

Well - quite a few responses. Thanks, but I don't think just up and popping out of the house without anyway to support myself is a good idea.  I may be getting tired of this, but not so much that I'm ready to abandon logic.
Get a part time job, save for 2/3 months and look for budget student accommodation to live. It won't be perfect nor easy but hey we all have to learn to stand on our own two feet. It will be your home, your rules, you can be yourself and be happy while learning independence at the same time. |

I don't get dolled up everyday but if I'm going on a planned night out well then that's a different story altogether, I would get dolled up to the nines. During the day I'm just your average plain Jane so when I go out I like to look my best and make that extra effort, I look completely different and people see this. |
