I Object

I Object to the disrepect that is being shown
to the founding fathers of the United States of America.

I Object to the fact that their values are being disregared.

I Object that all who came here in the beginning chose English as the common language, and now their choice is being ignored.

I Object that our founding fathers chosen words "In God We Trust" are being used for controversy. Each person chooses how they view God or don't view God. Where does it say that all were guranteed happiness with the words that the founding fathers chose?

to be continued.....

... is "objection" a euphemism for Xenophobia???whoa

SODA POP?

I don’t think we should
talk about war anymore.
Do you? I mean, so there’s
a huge death toll, and
people are gettin’ blown
to bits but, what’s with
all this anyway? Who’s
to say any of this matters?
War certainly is big
business too but, so who
cares? As long as your
parent isn’t going there?
Right? So there’s a fight
here and there, and there
and here.

Do we really need to hear
about someone else’s
nightmare as long as we
think it doesn’t effect us?
Is speaking about war a
must? I mean, whaat’s the
fuss?! After all, “In God
We Trust” so the mighty
dollar says. I’d rather
talk about religion ‘cause
there’s a lot of sinners
out there not goin’ to
church! You know, not doin’
much about the status quo.

Oh! Wait a minute! Do we
know if the status quo has
anything to do with war?
Perhaps it just might
‘cause when people are
oppressed with the same
ol' same ol' they want
change, and will go to
great pains to have the
basics in life. But if
those at the top try to
stop equity and economic
balance, a lance or two
may be thrown.

Oh, I don’t know. Should
we talk about war or not?
People die, bodies drop,
but, that’s OK. I’d rather
sit around drinking, or
thinkin’ ‘bout soda pop!

The system kills
at will,
spilling over on
those not part
of the
establishment
the enactments
the entrapment
of the party line.

So, where do we
find the line we
need to cross
in order to
shed truth on
lies, on
what's denied,
on hiding places
made to leave no
trace of what's
gone wrong?

Live truth or pretend?
You were not of the
system then, but are
you now? Have you
joined the crowd? Do
you remain proud of
who you are as a
Sacred being, as one
who sees the reality
of what you truly
need to succeed in
your life and your
dreams?

Let go of false guilt,
and focus on your
ability to transform
yourself from within
and without. You are
in the system, but
only of the system if
you let yourself go
by playing some
game that perpetuates
shame. Most certainly,
we do what we must,
but do not get lost
inside "The Matrix."

What will you swallow?

Only you can choose
your Truth to follow.

The “Holy Grail”
REVISED

Managed health care
so they say...
Mismanaged perhaps,
with all that conveys.
Let’s get you in and
get you out;
it matters not if
there's a doubt.

You could be lyin’
on death's door
while insurance
refuses to pay
for more. Profit
is the “Holy Grail,”
a thinly cloaked
blackened veil.

A loved one cries
and writhes in vain.
Many docs caught
in the game.
Your cancer pain
screams morphine,
but you'll get
aspirin with no
shame.

"Don't look at us,
we’re not to blame;"
the nurses weep, but
walk away.

~© JDS 04/17/2009~

Aptly renamed "Mismanaged".
We are one secret legislation away from shameless genetic and organ harvesting, but if that's too polite then "Human Salvaging" may suffice.
The government agencies and complicit "disservice" providers are collectively one writhing, incestuous "Medical Ponzi Scheme".
Surgeons,Pediatricians,Orthopedists,Psychiatrists etc.etc.aren't invested in human health.
They are investor stake-holders in the most profitable niche' market...the pharma-medi sector.
Remember, the motto does not voice concern, empathy, cure or care.
To them the human commodity, the human kapital is to be extracted, exacted, automatized then prepared for funerary regalia and ushered into a purgatory called Hospice.
So for the sake of brevity you are correct Angel, as one may infer that entanglement into "mismanaged" health care is pre-funerary.

Yes, JR, so many in the system seem to have joined ranks with the pharmaceutical companies, along with the stakeholders. Human life seems nothing more than a mere passing fancy under these circumstances.

I simply do not believe, for instance, that with all our "technology", the pharmaceutical companies cannot develop medications that have few side effects, or that do not involve the frequent risk of heart attack, stroke, or death.

It's hard to believe the pharmaceutical companies cannot come up with medications that actually cure. But, if they did this, where would their profit come from if they actually healed? There would no longer be a Holy Grail....

... unfortunately Angel the pharmaceutical cartels manufacture diseases and symptoms in a continuum of social engineering..

HE CRIED

He cried when he
tried to walk but
could not; he felt
his legs....
only phantom pain.

He cried as he tried
to write, only a
reminder his hand
had been blown away
by roadside bomb.

"I live in this chair
daring to give voice
to the injustice of
war, where I was
chewed and spit out
when no longer of
use."

"For whom did I kill?
For what did I fight?
I now sit alone as I
ponder war's plight."

Tears are falling fast.
Tears for now, tears
for the past.

Will we grasp the
meaning of this war?
Or grasp the reality,
the insanity, of any
war that came before?

So many, and "in the
name of God," but
that's just a facade,
smoke and mirrors.
"For Oil We Stand,
Divided We Thrive"
so the motto seems.
The American Dream?

Western Imperialism
at its best? Do we
honestly invest to
systematically
oppress,
depress,
stress,
cause unrest among
other peoples,
other nations?

"They" must be
contained so resources
are gained, strategic
sites obtained. Oh,
but we can explain!
The “communists are
coming,” and now the
terrorists. There's no
error as to who THEY
are; "they wear scarves"
so of course we're
alarmed!

“We” wear suits, yes,
we're civilized, and
deny any blood on our
hands! Can't we just
get our people to
blindly understand
we're under attack?

And so, the beat goes
on....and so do the
bombs....

What's the best town in Jamaica? Is it Kingston or Montego Bay?
Who is the best singer, songwriter ever?

Ahhhhhhh Have u heard of ST.Ann's/St.Ann's Bay....
often called 'the Garden Parish of Jamaica' on account of its natural beauty. Saint Ann is the birthplace of reggae singers Burning Spear and Bob Marley , and The Right Excellent Marcus Mosiah Garvey, one of Jamaica's seven National Heroes.
