I don't get on this site much because it seems to be more of a community
forum thing where you speak your mind about anything you want. Which is fine..except I wanted to actually 'meet' someone on here. Oh well, the reason for my message is ...what is the deal with the emails...I have all this incoming mail that I've read and can't delete. This has gone on since I signed onto this site and still it hasn't been debugged. |

I just laughed when I read it...then I scrolled down to see what you
said...because you always have something interesting or a funny comment. Keep that great sense of humor Usadad. |

I've read some of the stuff on here from members saying how petty it is
judging a mate by job, clothes, height, etc. They say they don't judge a person by any of those things...yet, I have to wonder if we all don't judge in some way...why else are we on here reading this stuff instead of snuggling with someone? I don't care if he is bald, has a low income job, or snores in his sleep..etc. I just don't want to relocate, get rid of pets, forget I have sons, or be someone's mistress. LOL I did ask if height is important to a man on my original posting because even though I do like looking up at a guy or be eye level, if the man is comfortable being shorter, then I'm okay with it. I was married for 23 yrs to a great guy in every way, but he changed into a cheating, abusive man. Hey guys, if you can accept me as I am...as long as you're breathing and not half my age...write me. :-) |

I'm on this site and another one so I am bad about not answering a
letter SOME of the time. In my defense, at first I answered all of them but then got to where I was spending too much time doing emails and not concentrating on what I want...someone to enjoy life with. I want a meaningful relationship so when I get a letter asking if I will move to another state, get rid of my cats, kick my son out, be someone's love toy who is half my age...then I just don't respond. Also,I look at the inside of a person for the most part, but am guilty of not wanting someone my height or shorter also. That isn't vain ...just that when I go dancing with a guy or want to be affectionate in public...I want to look UP into his eyes and not DOWN. I think most guys would feel the same...I'm tall and most guys wouldn't be comfortable with the woman being taller. Anyway, hanging my head...guilty of not always answering back..sorry. :-( How about some guys responding back about whether height is important to them? |

I've met 3-4 men online thru personal ads. Only one turned into a
relationship (which lasted about 3 yrs). We haven't been a couple now for a while, but still remain good friends. You have to be careful especially if you start up a long distance thing. One guy I met ended up married 5 times..and not divorced from any of them...and get this...he was engaged to me and at least two other women that I found out about. I was the only one who got an engagement ring. LOL |

this really isnt like a personal ad site at all then? We just seem to
gravitate to the 'community' section and read a topic and respond ...kind of like blogging? I don't want to talk about if I like to sleep alone etc...I want to meet someone on line who I might end up meeting in person. I dont want to stay in this cyber world and amuze myself reading topics. |
