Well language is the obvious one.
Fanny pack (US) is one that makes me think twice and blush in polite company before I realise that what you mean is a bum bag (UK). (Do we still have those or did they get left behind with the 1980's?) Then there's rubbers. In the UK we use these to rub out mistakes. In the US you use them to prevent mistakes. Cars are made out of different components. There you have hoods, fenders, plants and trunks. Here we would put these things on our heads, play them, water them or wear them at the swimming pool. Oh I could go on and on and on. |

I slept through it too. This is now the third earthquake that I have slept through. When the earth is rent in two and the hoards rise up, I hope it's during the night!
