I've visited Chicago a couple of times. Lots of good stuff, but the driving isn't fun. I would love a guided tour of chicago from someone who really knows thier way around. That would be fun! Im from up near Green Bay, WI. (please no packer jokes. Just because I live here doesn't make me an automatic fanatic.) lol

I enjoyed that article. I thought it was well written. It seems the pendulum has to swing in an extreme opposite direction at times before society is willing to let loose of old rigid thought patterns. Its not necessarily bad. Maybe chaotic and uncomfortable for a while but growth is never bad. It'll come back to center eventually with a more expanded view.

Fabulous!!! laugh Nailed that one on the head. I just got an email with pictures from a 1970's JC Penny catalogue. I wish I could share that with all of you - scarey yet very funny. I love how we all think we look and good at the time and then you look back at old pics and wonder what was I thinking lol

I've found corned beef cooked in a crock pot is scrumptious! Throw it in with water and let her go while you are away at work.

Do you have to do the BIG MEETING on a holiday? Could you maybe choose a different more relaxed and low key time to meet them? Maybe a simpler get together? Something a little less nerveracking instead of taking on the whole family at one time?

Oh I could name a few but does anybody remember the 80's movie Howard the duck lol. Even as a kiddo I was bummed by the story line although the duck was kind of cool.
