Yeah... it'll prolly be as dead then as it is now... no one really cares about Chicago on this site. the boards are dead.

The sad part is that there are SO many people here from the Chicago/Illinois/Indiana area on this site -- and practically none of them use the forums at all. Makes it hard for those of us who would really like to find some local people to talk to....

No one replys when I have started the forums. I just check themout every so often. It seems like posting is almost a joke. LIke thinking that you will hear from one of your mutual matches.

Meaty, I've had lots of e-mails from lots of people on this site, and I've made some great friends, but the locals are another story altogether. I've given up on even trying to talk to them! It's sad because everyone else here seems totally open to talk, but the locals are just flat-out rude. They don't even bother to answer e-mails. Just amazing that some people still don't get the idea that we're living ina "civilized society," so to speak. I guess when you get to a certain level of rudeness, it just makes the brain stop working!

And welcome to the site! Really, lots of good people here. The forums can get you noticed if you're willing to put yourself out there a little....

I'm always willing to put myself out there. I've been on this site for 9 or so months and it is just crazy that all these people come on here to meet others but they never reply. I mean what do all you ladies in this area look for? Obviously not an outgoing guy that loves to have a good time. I don't know.... I guess that is just a couple of one man's thought about meeting someone locally. What do yall think?
