Legalize weed. That won't solve the drug trafficing problem but it will help and bring in some tax revenue as well.

The drugs cartels are a huge problem. Aside from the obvious benefits of cheap labor we tolerate the illegal immigration because
we don't want mexico to have a socialist revolution. Do we., the great capitalist of the west really want a socalist country on our border? Hell no!!! The downside to our capitalist exploitation and support of mexico is the extremly powerful cartels. If there was a socialist revolution the drug cartels would be hunted down like the dogs they are. Think cuba.....The cartels run mexico, we don't want that here...

Fix our borders, yes its possible to do. Technology can do amazing things. Ok so maby lasor torrents are a bit much, haha but building a wall is a start. This is a long term issue, there are many benefits to building a border wall.

Deportation doesn't work, politically it is hard accomplish but we should go after felons with no mercy no matter what.

Once they are in here, they are in here for the most part.

My take on it is that we should expand our efforts to get the bad guys, give the good guys a chance and seal off the border.

btw not promoting socialism just mentioning it!

Both parties take various stands on immigration but in the end both parties passively support it.

In reality neither party nor any politicians want to touching this issue with a 10 foot pull........

That would be well, political suicide....

You are right, it is perfectly natural for people to get down and depressed.

Frankly, i expect nothing from online dating and i don't base my self-worth or happyness on it but i do get dissapointed, not even so much that it hasn't become a date factory but peoples behavior.

I am not talking about the forums but what i mentioned in my earlier post.

It brings out the worst in people. Shyness, Vanity, Arrogance, Paranoia and Apprehention, Self-Doubt, General flakyness and lack of common courtesy.

So yea, Andy lots of us feel your pain.

Long walks are my personal best friend (i can't have a dog in my apt :(

You seem like an interesting and smart guy, Have you traveled?

I have only traveled once before but during that time i met more interesting people, made more friends and yes even met more women then i typically do where i live. Some people make traveling a permanent part of there lives. I would suggest youth-hostels but if you havent done it yet i warn you, they are rough and you will never sleep.....

Yup, you express any semblence of vunerability and people use it as an excuse to lob insults, make ignorant assumptions and brag about themselves.

This is why people are dishonest.

I can smell a jerk a mile away as well. :)

I think most people use online dating as an ego boost and a platform to entertain there fantasies. There is no substance to it.

People very often don't even extend you the courtesy of replying if you take interest in them. So you don't even get a clue as to what you are doing wrong (if anything) Or what is appealing or not about you.

When you have established a connection people just decide to stop responding at some point. WTF?

Me, i like to keep my profile modest and short because, why am i going to share all my details with a bunch of strangers for there critical eyes? If you are not even willing to engage in conversation with me i sure as hell am not giving you my life story or give you any hint as to where i am headed in life!!!

Honesty? I think people are mostly honest about factual details but
rarely honest about themselves.

Everybody lives in there own bubble, nobody is genuinely interested in making any real connections.

Yes people are full of ****.

"Microsoft and Apple have agreements between them about who will dominate for how long before the other "Improves." "

So like a strategic truce.

Definatly curious to see what happens with the linux smartphones though!

There is alot of aging computer hardware that can still do alot, especially with an os like linux...

So i have a decent windows smartphone and i have loaded it up with cool stuff (even emulators for playing nes and snes games) but ive noticed that android has just about already blown away windows mobile os.

The iphones and the android smartphones already have better apps availible.

So i wonder is microsoft stupid or are they scared to innovate because of the pressure they have gotten from the government in the past so they purposly aren't trying to complete?

What are your thoughts?

I grew up with nintendo but the last console by them i owned was the cube which was a big disappointment. I sady have to say outgrew the zelda series. In fact i sold my gamecube and haven;t done any console gaming since. Maby in a year or 2 ill grab a Wii-U

Nintendos stubborn refusal to modernize and invest in making a powerful console held them back and alienated older gamers like myself.(pc is my platform of choice) Even ultilizing the The Wiis power,(or lack thereof) this time around it doesn't appear this game is going to offer anything new.

Having said all that its Zelda, it can't be bad, i know what to expect and i will be good.

Even after all these years i have a soft spot for the zelda series :)
