Constant communication is impossible. A gurl's gotta sleep sometime! I assume you are asking about what you can do to keep a guy engaged in conversation???? Be interesting! If you don't have anything going on in your own life you won't have much to share. Continue to grow and explore life separately and together. Then you will always have new things to talk about. And learn to appreciate all that is said without words. Much can be said with a touch or a glance. When you pay attention, sometimes words just get in the way ... maybe i'm not a interesting person and not good in conversation or maybe i'm just expecting to much.. Everyone is interesting. 
Try not to have expectations. I just get to know people - if there is something more romantic to be explored it will make itself known. In the meantime, take the pressure off yourself. Don't overthink it. Just enter the conversation with a natural curiosity - a desire to learn about another human being. From that place of no expectations, people can come and go. The ones you connect with will stick around. ok, i will.. thanks!
