I think if he ever coaches, it'll be in Greenbay. But... I can easilly see him doing the sports shows for a bit with Terry B., Howie, and the guys. But he'll be with his family #1. After retirement. I think, and hope, that's what he does.
They could lose, but I activated 8 packers on my fantasy football team. Mostly defense+ Favre, Grant, & Crosby. Perdicting a high scorer though. Packers 34, Cowboys 27.
Crossing fingers.

Hey, Mnhiker...Vikings are winning games! Hope things are going better for you up there. If they, somehow, win-out~ they could even make the playoffs. But I think their schedule is rough in December if I remember correctly.

Go Pack!!!

I don't like it when anyone says they're a hard-core fan of their team when that teams a winner~ then stop being fans when they're a suck team. mad It's not just Minnesota or Greenbay. It's everywhere.
I love The Pack because...they're The Pack. And the team of my state. I, also, enjoy watching Favre and keep track of how all the players on the team are faring. I'm,also (since being little), a Sandiego Chargers fan. They're not that good this year (I blame Norv Turner & their new dumb uniforms), but I still root for them week in- week out.
If you live in Minnesota and follow football, I believe you should root for The Vikings. That doesn't mean you can't like another team. But the home team needs support from ' it's home ys'.
I hope The Vikes do alright for the rest of the season. 'Cause I'd prefer not to see them get a top pick in the draft next year.
10-1. Yep. Go Pack! But the true test is next thursday~ The Cowboys. Let's whoop 'em!

lol. This is the official FortSmithMan thread. Every third post must be his!FSM, at least you get involved. Good choices of tunes, too.
Personally, I listen to whatever cds I feel like throwing in the player. I have around 2,000. But at the moment, I'm listening to nothing, as I've a head-ache. But Collective Soul, Anberlin, and Ladytron are a few that come to mind.

There is another anime discussion thread. Anyhow, yes. I love anime. Own about 800 disks. I like some American-style cartoon...er animated shows, but can't stand Sponge Bob. No interest in The Simpsons or King of The Hill either.

(action): Berserk, Basilisk, Gundam Seed, Full Metal Panic, & Cowboy Bebop.

The Dark Elf Trilogy was good. I read that about ten years ago. I was tempted to read The Mist, but figured it would spoil the movie. Where is Waldo? My friend, Ken, back in highschool looked exactly like Waldo.
What I've read recently.: Charlie Bone & The Beast. It's the latest installment of the Charlie Bone series. If you like Harry Potterish stuff, check out the series. Midnight for Charlie Bone is the first book. I stopped liking the Harry Potter books after book four. The Charlie Bone books have been concistantly good.
I've been reading a manga series called Hana Kimi. It is fantastic. It's about a girl that dresses as a guy to stay at an all-guys dorm and meet the boy of her dreams. He ends up being her roomate. The series is clever, somewhat realistic, and deep. Book 20 of 23 just came out.
I need to get back into a bumber of book series that I lost interest in. One book I'm waiting for is Bok 5 of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice & Fire. I believe it'll be called something like a Dance with Dragons or something like that. It's a gritty, compelling, and adult fantasy series about survival, greed, tyranny, and Fuedalism. And the books are all around 700-800+ pages.
This past summer, I read The Spiderwick Books. And next spring they have a movie coming out. It's about three children who live with their mom and move to an old house (an aunts, I believe) out in the middle of nowhere. The house and nearby woods turn out to be the homes of fairies, goblins, and a foul troll. Very good series. Short books, though.
Also, read Inkheart in that time frame. It involves a guy who can read people out of a book (by mistake- some villians) and his daughter. This, too, will be a movie next spring. These villians (from a magical world) get a taste of modern times and want to go back to their world with guns and stuff.

Saturday is my one guaranteed night off during the week. I usually have five of my friends out for Dungeons & Dragons. But if I can, I'll get something else going, as I don't want to be doing the same thing every Saturday.
I like bowling and love to dance (if you can call it that. I'm all over a dance floor). I'm gonna do the former soon, but the later is unlikely. At least until I find some one to go with. I feel very uncomfortable going to clubs alone. Or bars.
Recently, we had a Movie Night(pics in my profile) at my buddy Scott's. He has a 10ft. projector screen and a 62" tv, surround sound, a popcorn machine, and all the theater-style accessories. I invited about thirty people. Some that I don't know. He invited a few friends. I even got a magician/ balloonist to come out. We only had 14 people show. None of Scott's 'good' friends showed. They were all friends of mine. We might plan another one for New Years. Or later.
Also, did a Halo 3 night. Same place. Four people on each screen. That worked pretty well.
Someday, it would be nice to have a date on a Saturday night. I just don't go out much. And it's so hard to aquant yourself with women nowadays. Really. You start talking to a woman and she either thinks you wanna jump her bones or that you're weird because you're talking to her. huh

9-1. Not bad at all! But two road games that should be tough. Detroit needs a win to keep ahead in the wild-card race and will try to bite back. Dallas will be tough to lasso. We'll see. If The Pack can win one of them, I'll be happy. But winning both will steer us toward home-field advantage. Not that the Packs been stellar at home, but in January...I think it would be a boost to host teams there.
Go Packers. Favre~ another solid day with no turn-overs.

Welcome aboard! If your name has referance to the band, I must say I'm a fan of their music. If not, that's cool. Have a great time here.

I'm not old enough to be part of this cool crowd, but I give all of you a thumbs up for not giving up on meeting people, and being active in a great social community like this. I knew there'd be some, but I'm, also, surprised by the number of hot chicks in the 40s & 50s group here. Very cool. Giving some of these nice gentlemen pleasant dreams. lol. You folks are all great. Bless ya' and keep live'n like you're young~ cause you still are.

If you read the prev. page, you'd see that I know that. And that its good to root for your home team. Mnhiker and I are exchanging friendly quips. He's a Vikings guy, I'm a Packers guy. Though, I'll be honest. I never liked the Vikings much. I sometimes dislike The Bears. Sometimes don't. I loved Ditka. Even mini-Ditka. Anyhow, there's no serious animosity toward Vikings fans or players on my part. I just don't like artificial sound pumped into domes, that annoying horn, and the uniforms. At least, I don't like the helmets. Ofcourse, if they changed that; they wouldn't be the Vikings.
I think it's great that you guys support your team. Especially, if you support them while they're down. Those players need that support. Not to be a better team, but to not feel neglected by their community. Imagine how bad the players in Detroit felt the last few years. The fans aren't bad, but they're stuck with Matt Millen...

I'd root for anyone the Vikings played, but no reason: the Vikings are so bad they beat themselves. Heck, a highschool team would win. Hah! Put a uniform on oldman Madden and he'd outplay the Vikings...

I've a few j-rock and j-pop cds. And two video collections. Don't remember the names of all of them, though. Xjapan, Lei Arc N Ciel, some real popular popstar over there and about 20 anime cds. I hope that's what you're talking about.

I work third.

No suits
work 7hrs. paid for 8
shift premium
sleep at night or in morning.

I like it better than the other two shifts. 2cd shift is terrible hours where I work. Start at 3:20. Work til 11:40pm.
Yuck. Only bars open that late. I'm not a bar person.
1st shift has business people and management constantly walking through. Yeah (exageration). And again, working 7 and being paid for 8 isn't bad.

I'd probablly read it. I was thinking of starting one, myself, actually. But a continual one where the next person could continue it~ and so forth. A participation thing for creative minds.
