"A Stolen Season" by SteveHamilton. The latest in a series of books about a reluctant private detective based in the U.P. of Michigan. I highly recommend all of the books in the series.

I was introduced to Rumi almost a year ago, and have fallen deeply in love with his words...he has given a beautiful insight into one's self, through his words.

Every translated poem in this new book, has me in tears, so deeply touched by his simplicity, his profound observations...his gift, that has spanned 800 years and is still as relevant today as any day in the past.

Rumi's love, his beautiful expression, so raw, and of course so rare, in today's world, and yet through my very reactions, reading his works, still deeply craved for.

I haven't found a single soul who has been impervious to Rumi's beautiful poetry.

NASD Series 7 guides. All day and all night. Whoo-hoo. Big fun.

Michiganman-How the Eric Clapton book? Was thinking of getting it for a friend for traditional December gift giving?

Oh yeah, sneak in some David Sedaris to laugh. Shhh, don't tell!

I am a Clapton fan, and I have found it very enjoyable. The last 1/3-1/4 deals with his struggles to get and stay sober, being in recovery myself I can relate
