hey you guys, long time no chat....lol.....i'm hanging in there, barely tho.....i'm doing great in the dbt group and all, but i haven't been sleeping well the past week because of my hip (it was injured when i fell about 4 weeks ago) did finally get some sleep last night, but i'm still exhausted

i HATED it!!!! haven't tried it on my new laptop yet, tho, and don't intend to! it locked up my old laptop (old in both ways) so bad i went ahead and got a new laptop two months sooner than i intended to......you can try it, but after upgrading, download and save the IE version you are using now to your desktop to keep on hand in case you decide that you don't like it....

My boyfriend and I could definitely any and all prayers we can get right now. We found the other day that his former stepfather (who my boyfriend is close to) was hit by a drunk teenage driver. He was flown over 100 miles to the best trauma center in the state. He's in critical condition, with both legs broken and blood on the brain. He's holding his own right now, no longer in the coma, but has no idea of his surroundings.
My boyfriend's nerves are torn up about this, and I'm worried about him too. We'd greatly appreciate it! |

Hi everyone! Missed you and have so many things Ive been doing. I found a wonderful man. His name is Rich. He is being very good for me and we have known each other for going on 6 mo now. I think/hope this is the one. Hope everyone is doing well and if not, Ill keep you in prayer. HUGS AND SMILES Good for you on finding someone who treats you right 
Thank you Cutiepie! So far he has been a perfect gentleman and his parent love me, and mine his. It is nice to be able to come in here and (personally for me) be able to write some good news. There are so many bad things happening to me but all I want to do it be with him. He has helped me through so much. I think we are getting close to the "L" word

i'm registered for three classes so far at the community college here.....hehehehe i can't wait! |

i'm getting ready to go back to college, and i'm wanting to give myself a makeover....lol going back to college....wooooooo...braver than me...did that for a couple years.....and now im on Mingle..HA! lol what ya studying? Baking and Pastry Arts....just working on my Associate's Degree for now....afterwards I might go back again and get an Associate's in Culinary Tech |

Well, I took my placement test for the tech school, and aced it! Thinking about breaking things off with Ken, tho.....still thinking about it I am sure tech school will keep you busy enough. Aced it, huh? Hey, that is awesome. yessir..........i got my official acceptance letter into Wake Tech.....woo hoo! also got me a new laptop, and it has a built-in webcam... |

Well I'm posting here for the first time. Just felt like getting a little something out. I'm feeling a bit blue over my friends lately. I can't seem to find a place to fit in lately. With a special needs child, I can't seem to find the right type of compassionate friends that will come to us to get together so my daughter will be comfortable in her own home and be able to take her feedings and such. My married friends had time for me after my divorce, but it's been over 2 years now and they just sort dwindled away. My single friends are either too caught up in boyfriends and such or want to go party all the time. They don't seem hip to the idea of doing things with our kids, just the normal things like go take a walk or something. A couple of my so called good friends don't return my calls for days on end. In short, I'm feeling very taken advantage of in the friend realm. People seem to think that good 'ole Heather will just be there when they need me. I'd like to see some effort from them to be there for me. I'm tired of always just me and the kids doing things. I love my kids, but it would be nice to have some adult interaction as well. well you opened up....that's a great start. you have the right to feel that way. have you talked to your friends about how you feel about how are treating you? I hope things get better for you and your children. Are there any support groups in your area for parents with special needs children? |
