ok then can you explain to me (maybe I'm not as bright as some) how all the blame is put on Bush then? Because I KNOW Clinton was no angel in MANY ways laugh

Because for some people - it is easier to put on the Democratically issued rose-colored glasses, blame all ills on Bush, and clamor, whine, cut and paste that he is evil, and we need to elect a Democrat.

Don't like that the economic programs Clinton started are having impacts - Blame Bush

Don't like the fact that the out-of-control housing market caused by consumer greed is now biting us in the a$$ - Blame Bush.

Don't like the fact that Clinton allowing the USS Cole bombing and the capture of US Servicemen by China embolden Al Quada and other terrorist groups? - Blame Bush for an "illegal war" (That no tribunal has even ben considered for)

Don't like the current Democratic plans which include some massive tax increases would probably tank the economy worse than most other actions - Blame Bush for a bad economy.

Don't like the fact that a few terrorist who tried to kill American GIs got roughed up a bit - Blame Bush

Don't want to face the fact that a few thousand innocents got killed in the Towers - Hey..you got it - Blame Bush.

Now, not all Democrats wear such glasses. Some realize that party affiliations do not solve problems. Some just actually work from that side to try and *take actions* - knowing they must meet the Republicans in the middle and beyond on some issues (and vice versa) to *solve the friggin' problem for the people*

But then - those are not the Democrats that upon the *valid* election of George Bush - proclaim the American public 'too stupid to vote'

Let's go back to my original statement

So, once again the cut/paste Queen puts in her drivel. But I wonder - does she drive a car? That uses oil for gasoline and lubrication, and we all know she doesn't want us in the Middle East. Perhaps she would be willing to give up her car.

Does she want/expect higher salaries every year? This adds to the inflation index - goods, be it 'hard' or 'services' cost more when you give employee's raises. Perhaps she would be willing to forgo wage increases.

Does she purchase luxury items, such as cable TV, Starbucks, fancy clothes? These again are not required, they are luxuries which adds economic 'churn' to the inflation/recession cycles.

Does she routinely go to the Giant or Safeway to purchase all her groceries, rather than producing her own from garden and local barter?
Well, she wants a pay raise, but she doesn't want the farmers and trucker who provide this convenience to her to have a pay raise?

What I "have in my craw" as you say is this - you cut/paste your Camelot views on subjects - cannot back up anything you say without cut/paste, and claim yourself to be 'all-knowing', correct in every opinion to the point of telling professionals in all fields they are wrong, yet you cannot even put in paragraph form any real world knowledge. ("Oh..I don't want to tell you about me" - bullsh*t)

You are expecting wage increases? You have a 4 cylinder car - again, I ask - care to get rid of it? Probably not Do you purchase 'luxury' items such as listed above? Probably Garden - good start - I take it you have enough to feed yourself from it, and barter? Probably not. How much do you have in savings? Could you not work for an entire year w/o hardships? Probably not.

So, once again - you whine and complain - but are part of the problem. What 'sticks in my craw' as you so speak - is you are too stupid to realize YOU are part of the problem. And here is a hint sister - cut/paste slanted views from your favorite liberalism and conspiracy theory websites - not the solution. Not even part of it.

And let's clear up on other thing - trust me, I am not flirting with you. I would expect my future partner to carry on an 'intelligent' conversation and debate. You have proved yourself incapable in that area. At least others in here have disagreed with me, and provided some form of logic, without the need for cut/paste.

You don't even know me!!!

Correct, but once again, you fail to answer the questions posed to you.
Once again, you fail to provide any insightful argument, Once again, you fail to even come close to making a point.

But hey - will humor you - care to answer the questions? Your 4 cylinder car is probably what you can afford, not your first choice.
You want a raise every year? You shop always for the cheapest and whine about rising prices? Again - don't evade - don't whine - simply answer the questions. They are written on a 6th grade level just for you.

I know you won't, because basically - you are just a whiner. and you are right - I don't really know you.

Lucky me.

Actually - I believe the death penalty laws should be rewritten across the country. Right now, I doubt there are any states (and yes..i could be wrong here) that actually carry out the sentence in less that 5 years.
5 friggin' years! This is no deterrent.

So - national referendum - let our population decide

1) Death penalty - Person gets choice of hanging, shot, lethal injection or gassed. Pick one. Default is lethal injection.
You get your trial. You get one automatic appeal, in which the whole trial is done over - all evidence from prior trial and all *proper* new evidence is allowed. 6 to 9 months to prepare for this. If you lose - a third trial is set - this one to review any and all procedures and the 'critical evidence' from the first two. They find no problems - they set your execution date. Sentence is carried out on that day.

2)No death penalty - It is replaced with life, w/o any, zip, zilch, zero, nada possibility of parole.

Prison - you get your choice - educate or vegetate. You want to be a veggie? Fine - we are gonna mash you like taters. You will work. Menial hard labor. You will get all the clean water you need, three nutritionally balanced meals per day (I don't care if it is repetitious, or taste like sh*t) Educate - you take college level course or trade schools. You get ONE shot. You screw up, or do not maintain a good grade level - off to the work gang. *IF* you leave prison, you are either going to be strong or smart - pick one.

have no love for americans, then again, except for americans, who does?

The list is long and varied. Don't buy into the media "everyone hates Americans" b.s.

However - if you happen to be one of the folks that "hate America", which as an American you are certainly free to do - I will make you the same offer that I have made to others. (If you are not, please skip the rest, have a great day)

If someone truly *hate* America - well, you certainly wouldn't want to stay, would you? After all - you *hate* it, right? I will pay for a one-way first class ticket to any country you like, from Reagan National Airport. I will even drive you over there.

We do have to make one stop first however, as a condition of your ticket. That will be for you to formally and officially renounce your American citizenship. So you sacrifice any and all rights, privileges and future entitlements. Since this is an official act, we might as well lump in a legal document that waives any and all claims made by you in the past, present or future concerning any U.S. citizen, or the American government.

Funny - I have made that offer so many times to people who rant on and on about 'hating America and everything American' but yet have one single taker for the offer. Puzzling......

Do you have any idea how hard it was to keep my sarcasm mode off here?
Sheezzzz ... like a baited trap or something

Anyway - good post Ram, on all accounts.

Personal view - I disagree with *some* of his policies, and think it is time for the pendulum to swing the other way on a few issues.

Overall - compared to the former Pres. Clinton - I believe his to be the better presidency.

While I am certainly more towards Republican - I haven't completely made up my mind between Obama and McCain.

H. Clinton - met her. Assisted with a project dealing with health care with her and staff. Simple answer - no way, no how.

If this is your opinion of someone, why do you insist on attacking them? Let's have some respect here.

If she wants to exercise her 'right to free speech' with cut/paste propaganda from her favorite sites - I will exercise mine by calling her out on it - demonstrating that she is no better than the propaganda machines she claims to be against.

Oh - and since you didn't know this, which is understandable - she has referred to me as 'uncouth' and 'uneducated' So if she doesn't like the 'attacks' perhaps she might need to amend herself. If you insist upon making yourself a target, as she does, you shouldn't whine when people send objects your way.

winxflowerforyou He is funny, I laugh my ass off every post. I do not know what I did to him but he has made it his project to personally attack me in every thread he sees me in.laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh drinker

Let me help you with that - appears you have a failure to read and comprehend as well as failure to think and understand:

You don't share information. You regurgitate propaganda whose main point is to complain about propaganda. You don't post original critical thinking. You don't post opinions you research all aspects of. You cannot even provide personal examples because you are bereft of life experiences.
No - I am not angry at you - annoyance is about the best you get for your constant regurgitations and lack of credible understandings. 'ell, you even feel qualified to tell *professional* soldiers how they should act in a country you have never been to, nor have done any historical research on.

sorry i'm c darling

I believe in being eclectic at all times... also, at this point, I really value comfort over looks... not like i'm going to randomly show it off to the people in the street. If I get a sig other who cares, he can buy something he likes, or I'd buy something special for him.

... I really wish I could find a rainbow bra. I don't know why, it just sounds cool.
victoria secret darling

Victoria's Secret only makes bras for the itty bitty titty committee..... not full busted gals....

Can I c ?? <grin> sorry - just had to say that!!

Idiots, they weren't CONSERVATIVE with their money and now look where we are.

Slight correction there, Sailor:

Yes, 'they' were not conservative. However "we" (or at least me and you) will weather the recession quite nicely - seeing how we didn't get hooked into the huge house, fancy boat, luxury item credit traps that "make the economy go"

Some folks who wish to be insulting somehow missed that little point.
