I though women "are it all" and when men want them they are seeking to "have it all". Am I wrong?

I think we should tax sex. Not the sale of it so much as the frequency of it. This could do two things. Either expose the liars that we all are or pay off the national debt.

Feminism

Is this the fundamental reason why some men like to chase and women enjoy playing hard to get in return? Seems to be a lot of the reason a man feels he has to work hard to get "the prize." Whatever happened to passion in relationships anymore? Has this drained out because women stopped being "women" or rather "self sufficient" and can make their own decisions, their own money, have a choice in a guy? I was thinking this could explain a lot of what is really going with broken relationships lately. Today's woman is very different from what she was in the 20s on to about the late 60s. Seems like it could be a factor in the demise in a lot of relationships. Guys, are you bothered by a feminist? Not at all! Women (and men) seem to think that they only get to gain in a relationship. Collective bargaining is not only gaining more than what you have today. You can also loose. If you fail to give 100%, money, body, sex, effort, fun, tears, pains, et.al. then you will never enjoy the true nature of what a relationship can be. Hold back anything and there will be diminishment. This goes for both parties in a relationship. Being a feminist or a machoist is a personality trait. In order to receive you can not be giving, and in order to give you can not be receiving. Give all and let your partner choose what they want to receive. And todays woman is different. A lot more selfish, and so are men. |

you should always say ,no the outfit doesn,t make you look fat ,your fat makes your look fat lol. ps Do not try this at home, it may cause serious injury lol. That has been my reply. " No, the outfit does not make you look fat." Then I think that the span from hip to hip across your *** makes you look fat. But, those words never pass my lips. |

A man should always be honest and say, "No, no, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the outfit." Sly! Oh so PC! |

Just a discussion point. Should there be humor or honesty when a guy is asked: "Does this outfit make me look fat?"

So I'm thrown back into the dating world and have been picking the wrong types of men i.e., selfish, have sex a few times and then bail. I've been told I am not vetting properly. What is vetting and how do you go about it? What should I be looking for/questioning about when out on a couple of dates with someone? When do you start asking them what their intentions are when it comes to dating. You might believe as I foolishly did that everyone is looking for "the one" where they are going to quit cybersurfing for the BBD or window shopping. Why can't a person when they are beginning to date someone, there's a spark, why can't they take the time to get to know you, instead of immediately dropping you and hunting for their next prey, especially once they have sex. It's almost as if they are afraid to have sex with you more than once or twice and don't want to go further. I know some are going to say to wait on the sex part, which is what im going to do next time, but how long do you wait? And you want an answer to the longest running game in the history of the world? If it feels good...do it. Don't look back and analyze the sh** out of it, just do it. If you are having sex to prolong the relationship or make one happen then you're a fool. If you're having sex because he is a good lay then why whine about it not lasting. Do what you want when you want for your own reasons. Do not try to force your reasons on to another person. That never works. |

Dating Advice, please

Kk...hello everyone...here is my dilemma...I have just recently started dating my ex, and I have a few problems with the advice given by counsel...We are not in a typical relationship as we have a kid together, but have been separated for 5 yrs... the rundown: he has already been to my house, slept overnight, due to traveling to see the kid, knows my parents, friends, family...I know this guy very well, and he will not attempt to manipulate me emotionally or in a sexual manner...My questions are, do we really need to involve ourselves in group dates...quite honestly, our church doesn't even have singles events for those over 30, and we are no rookies and don't need the accountability...in my opinion. other factors are that he is native Guatemalan and therefore Spanish is his primary language...he doesn't mind going places or hanging out with my friends; he does speak English, probably not as much Spanish as I speak, but still...I am more comfortable going with his friends, church etc, just because I understand more than he does at my church etc...I know his intentions are to be married, but we both know we need to guard our hearts... so I guess my question is...in a situation as such, how many of these godly dating guidelines should one really follow. NONE! Don't do it. It did not last for a reason. If you have to "guard your hearts" then a red flag is waving frantically. |

time off is a seperation , or a break up that isnt definite break ups are more of a permanent intention to move on where as time offs are break ups with the option of gettinhg back together if the breakup deosnt work,,, Well if you had a POS car and sold it, why would you buy it back just because it had been washed? If the "relationship" isn't working then say goodby and move on. Why prolong the agony or lie to yourself? |

Rejection

Why some people are afraid or intimidated by rejection? We probably could come up with a million things. Some people play it safe because they are afraid of rejection. Some people don’t try new things because they are afraid things may not turn out the way they want. Females don’t approach guys because they are afraid of rejection. I am old skool, I think a man supposes to approach a female in public places not the other way around. Dating sites makes it easier for people to communicate or approach opposite sex. Just my opinion. A man went every free moment to a busy street corner and asked every woman who walked by, “Pardon me ma’am, would you like to F***?” Then he’d usually get slapped in the face or kicked somewhere else. His friend asked him if he ever got tired of being rejected or afraid of getting hit? “No,” said the man, “because, you’d be surprised at the amount of A** I get.” |

The additional space will require more clothes. More clothes will require more shopping. More shopping will require you to make more money. Making more money for more clothes to fill the additional space will lead to more getting dressed to go out. Going out more often will make her happy. A happier woman will lead to more sex. Hmmmm...let's see...yup it's worth it!

My age matters to me. Sometimes in a positive way and at other times negatively. But if it matter to her then, obviously there is no match or mingle. Does her age matter to me? Not at all. Her attitude, desire, willingness, intelligence, and humor does. If any of those ebb due to age or circumstance, then again there is no match or mingle.

romantic, not caring?
|

could someone be romantic yet no caring and vice versa? To be that malnipulative you would have to put in some time. Plus I think you know in your gut if they really care. Carol, I don't understand why you say this. To me it seems obvious that it's possible. I'm not sure it's even manipulative. Some people are great at being romantic, affectionate, all that, but just don't have the capability for true caring. It's a personality defect (IMO) but I don't think it's necessarily intentional, especially with younger people who haven't figured themselves out yet. Caring but not romantic is also highly possible, in my book. Thank you Dr. Brava... If you are not genuine then you are a fake, a liar, a manipulator. If you are real but change on an emotional whim, then you have no integrity. If you are real and change over time then you have grown (either positively or negatively). The heart can change over time and the head can change over time. It is the reason for the change that makes you real or fake. (I hope I explained that well enough) |
