I suppose it depends on the situation, but would you agree that there are societal problems caused by fathers not being there for their children, that this can lead to anger issues, which in turn can lead to more serious problems? Yes, I agree with that. I also know of plenty of good fathers who have always been there for their children, but yet the kids get into trouble later anyway. Peer pressure is a big factor in that. But yes, basically I agree. |

Ah, yes. missblndie I agreed with a lot of the points she made. There is a morality problem in this country. I think it is something that can't be legislated or put in the Constitution, it has to be handled in the family and community. The most serious problem I see is fatherless children. Meaning, there are a lot of men who father children who don't take responsibility for them. Without discipline, the child grows up angry, and turns to crime. Hmmm, I didn't agree with anything she said at all, but maybe it was the tone that distracted from the points. Sure, there is a morality problem, but you are right in that isn't the governments problem to correct. It is a problem that needs to be addressed within the family, and community if need be. Political figures should be focused on running the government, not ensuring that a family shares their moral or religious views. I, personally, would never vote for anyone that thought otherwise. As for fatherless children, I have raised my children on my on, and they are happy, healthy and productive individuals. I think that single parent homes can be just as nurturing, most certainly more so than dysfunctional two parent homes, and can definitely provide a positive influence on children. I think that guidance, structure, and open communication, not necessarily discipline, is the key to instilling a sense of morality in kids. I do agree though that many men, women too, don't take responsibility for their kids, but as you said, it's not an issue to be legislated. |

Maybe it's an ex and they're trying to prove that at some point somebody liked them. that's pretty funny |

If she wins the nomination, I will vote for her. btw, what happened to the angry girl? Wanted to tell her that God should always be capitalized. Would have thought she would have known that...
